Cajon Pass Route. When I switch to an external end-of-train camera or leave the camera free following the passage of the wagons, when I try to switch back to the camera inside the cab, the game crash. The main game loading screen appears and I still hear the train sounds, but it freezes and no matter how long I wait it won't recover. Finally I have to force close the game from the main menu of the console, and it detects that something has gone wrong because it gives me the possibility to send the error report. This has happened all three times I've tried to run a service and I'm tired of this situation. Yes, the route, trains, lighting etc are amazing but it always crashes. I have to say that this also happened to me in Sherman Hill, and that's why I had to stop playing that route as well. Something is wrong and I don't know if it's the game or my console. I would be grateful if you could tell me about your experiences with external cameras in this routes.
Lol. That old bug. Seems to be an issue on routes with long freight trains. I get it on Sherman Hill and Sand Patch on PS5 TSW2. Oddly enough it doesn’t seem to happen on Horseshoe Curve. I feel like it might have gotten a bit better but I still can guarantee a crash by switching to rear cam anywhere near Cumberland on SPG for example. I just don’t bother with camera changes on long trains because nothings worse than crashing 1 hour into a run on a game without a functional save game.
