Gawd, folks, really ?

I hit a tram leaving Iwata Park stop going west ... but no tram in sight. Remember the dead trams you could bump to get them to disappear ? Did they become ghost trams ?

Traffic light ignored, warning. But i got my tram signal to go ahead !

This is not some effort to simulate Hamburg trams or Berlin trams ... this is just ViewApp Tramau. These are not mere just logic errors or inadequate rules. These point to a flawed design, flawed modelling of this domain. But they had a tram sim that was sorta ok ... did they unlearn what they had learned there ? There are apps on Steam where version 2.0 is crud compared to 1.x But this is not Tram Sim Hamburg.

And then there are the missing announcements for stops. Cars jammed together in an intersection.

Not as awful as TSW5 Ludwigshafen Mitte folks stepping out onto the tracks ... that level of non-testing we do for DTG for free ...

I did one run, 5 perfect stops, but rollng into the train station TWICE warned of pedestrians collisions on the empty track ... One Aftet The Other ! Ghosts standing one behind the other on the tracks ?
This is 1.0 crud !

Oh, got credited for 2 routes completed. I rate that a CS 101 first assignment newbie error.

 

Uninstalled from PS5 ( very rare to do such a thing n PS ) and first career run starts with ... top of run, line 1, 9am, Freimuthplatz, default tram, ROUTE COMPLETED !

Dumb as LOVE.

All i did was open the doors.
