Recently i have got my ps5 and wondering if is better to place in vertical or orizontal, someone says better in orizontal to prevent overheating, Sony says there's no difference

If it has enough free space around, there shouldn't be any problems, no matter which way you do it.

Both are fine, as long as you have plenty of space for airflow however you set it up. Vertical uses less shelf space, but requires a stand that's sold separately. Horizontal is cheaper and less subject to Murphy's Law in the form of pets, small children, earthquakes, or clumsiness. As someone with enough of the latter to make up for lacking the first three, I lay mine flat.

You can use one and the same stand for both positions. I'm having mine standing vertical on top of the subwoofer. Works fine.

Mine's vertical. I've had a couple of instances of it overheating when the room has been warm and I've been playing Sniper Elite 5 or The Crew Motorfest (possibly also because it was quite dusty inside), where it's shut itself down, but I bought one of these cheap fan attachments and it's not done it since: https://amzn.to/3DzarXQ

It just clips onto the back, has pass-through USB so you don't lose a port (important if you have an old PSVR attached) and can be separately switched on and off. I didn't expect it to help massively, but you can feel it chucking out a load of extra heat at the back and a noticeably increased draw in of cold air in the front vents.
