Yes, you can have them both installed, it's just a bit messy managing which want you want use / install DLC for but this is all Sony's fault. The only thing to considider is how you want to transfer you progress (if at all). You can do it more than once but it will overwrite the PS5 version.
Unless something has changed I didn't think you could transfer progress at all between the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. (Which confusingly is different from transferring progress from the PS4 to the PS5 when playing the PS4 version of the game on the PS5, which I suspect the previous poster was thinking of)
Of course you're right, I was remembering importing progress from TSW2 to TSW as I was already on the PS5 version of TSW2. You can run both versions but ingrnor everything I said about importing progress!
