PlayStation Ps5 Route Menu After 8th Sept Update

I understand that as part of today's update there has been some optimisation to the route selection screen. On PS5 I can't see that anything has improved though. I can still hear the fan running louder (not massively) and buzzing as I change from route tile to route tile.

 

I've seen no difference as well.

For info - The routes showing in the in-game store still take a while to populate properly, and the fan still cranks up hard while in the menu.
Not 100% certain, but I thought the actual route menu navigation seemed a little smoother if anything, but it could be my imagination.

nb - for clarity it isn’t that the fan is particularly noisy, just working harder to cool the machine as a result of the previously documented uncapped FPS on menus.

Same, and the in-game store for me (North America) shows everything priced in British pounds since the Aug 20 release.

 

Same here, but no major fan noise

 

Can confirm I am also having the same issue, although I haven't noticed the fan sound since it's usually pretty quiet anyway and I wear headphones.

 

Can confirm it's still the same on Xbox too fps is not capped and still lags

 

The selection screen is the same for me but I haven’t noticed any fan issues.
