Post Dec. 11 PS5 updateS: waiting passengers for inbound Class 710 up to Euston on service 2C05 ... a passenger steps out off the platform onto my track ... they won't reach Euston, will they ? Please test, validate and fix. This 5-car train was braking for on-time arrival, was mid-station, was under 20 mph, transitioning from B2 down to B1 on the combined handle. I was running on time in from Watford Junction, the 6:28 departure, 51 minutes to Euston timetabled as the 2C05 service. Hope the detail helps.
Just had the same thing at Harrow on the Down Fast. Passenger on the track one undered with my 110 MPH Class 350. It really is not good enough. As stated previously this game is played by real railway people, many of whom may have directly or indirectly experienced first hand the rather nasty event that a train fatality is. Not acceptable this type of thing is not tested and looked for before these routes go live.
I definitely think this should be addressed immediately. I'm very much able to separate playing this game from real life, but as someone who has experienced this in real life it's not something pleasant to experience in my leisure time. Because it happened at over 100mph and it was very unexpected it definitely gave me a surprisingly significant shock. Crucially this is obviously a simple mistake in the game, but needs fixing straight away without question.
switched to class 350 on WCML Milton K. to Euston, but soon hit two issues ... so let me take stock here : this has been my investment now that i am home-bound: four instance of TSW through to TSW5, but i am both too old and too ill to be a beta tester unless i choose to run a beta. This my PS5. I have done betas on PC Steam, but not now. Sony knows better: 30 years in, with PS and here is TSW5 crashing on PS5. I do not have sims that crash on PS5. We pay extra. Steam, ok. Xbox, well that's microscoff. Epic i cut some slack as they gave us Unreal 5.x for other games and there will be an Unreal Engine 6. But don't crash on PS5. They track this, at Sony. I expect better. PS5 users deserve better. We can't wait for a sale to buy so-so DLC and hold our nose. Many typos later, enuff said.
wait for the fixed date for CTS: Tram on PS5. The first thing that should not be fixed yet is that date.
