Psn Is Down

Apparently, this is a global thing. No word on how long it’s gonna take to fix it according to the latest news I saw.

 

Yep and that sucks even more when you want to play a game without an offline mode like GT7 or Test Drive.

 

Can't you play offline like on PC? The worst would be no connection to DTL, but you can play the game anyways.

This seems to be a massive DDoS attack (again) on PSN.

Back then... same amount of fun, less amount of trouble.

 

Surprisingly I’m connected to DTL but it takes much longer than usual for the game to load.

 

Does this explain the reason as to why the bar on the TSW4 loading screen is stuck at about 5% for me?

Edit: It would appear so. Time to play offline for now. I don't get why PSN needs to impact the loading of the game.

 

I Love this post just says it all ..Honestly i think this digital gaming stuff nowadays where they getting rid of physical media like tapes dvds etc ,they force the internet downloads and updating or have to have online connection to play some games...maybe thats why there is more and more half arsed content and games out there today cause they jusk hack some of this stuff out thenthey say we may or may not fix or update the content ..

 

And the wife told me off royally for ripping the front off so I could get the bar in to override the regional protection and play Densha de Go!

 

I also am a avid railfan iv e shot lots of my own videos of trains since 1986 till present on VHS 8Mm mini dvd and memory cards .I dont put any of it to hard drives i stll make master copies of all my footage to dvd first then another back up ..one of my friend s had all their footage on a hard drive lost forever he didnt have anything backed up ..yesterday i tried to dub some footage off a memory card to dvd for another friend and some footage missing or corrupted .. Years ago i transfered vhs footage to dvds glad i did those tapes no longer play or broke ..its getting hard to find blank dvds in stores now..lots of them taken blu rays dvd s cd off the shelves ..but iv e gone to some used book cd dvd video game stores in my area and its fairly busy in there ..i dont eventrust the electronic streaming videos etc they can be taken down removed or internet go down etc then cant view it with dvd or disk games just pop the disk in and play no internet needed

 

PSN has been working for me this afternoon so probably was not down long

 

It was down for about 7 hours. But for those of us in Europe we were asleep for most of it.

If you check the Reddit PSN channel, you’d think the world was about to end judging by some reactions!

 

I’ve seen a lot of people panicking on the internet like it was the end of the world, it was worse in 2011 with the PSN down for nearly a month.
