So I picked up the Wutachtalbahn: Lauchringen – Immendingen Route Add-On, and the DR BR 86 Loco Add-On. I've installed the files on my computer and yet they are not accessible from career nor are any of the rolling stock accessible in the consist creator.

The route does appear in the career tab, BUT attempting to start any of the scenarios just causes the game to soft lock. see video:
(it does this for literally an hour, while drawing practically no resources on task manager)

I've already cleared my cache, and manually deleted the SDB cache file.

I suggest you untick it in your dlc list, then tick it after a restart. It will then re install. Hopefully that will sort it - it may have been corrupted during the download/install process.

No dice, I even validated the game files after redownloading.

A user on the Steam forum had a similar issue, purchased DLC not showing up at all. I suggested to clear Steam's Download Cache (Settings -> Downloads -> CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE) which did the trick for him.
In your case it seems the Assets have not been properly installed. (Assets\DTG\Wutachtalbahn\WutachtalbahnAssets.ap)

No dice, and a full re-install nets the same results

Sorry to hear that. The route works fine for me. So if you have a clean TS install, the problem is somewhere else.

Edit: Try this, double click on LogMate.exe in the RailWorks main folder (default: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks) then start TS. Start the scenario again and post the log files LogMate generates (find them also in RailWorks folder.)

TS cannot find the core files. This could be because you have installed the Wutachtalbahn to a different drive accidently? Check your installation paths, I think this is the reason. (Use Steams "Browse local game files" to check)

all train simulator content is on the same folder... I just realized I can't start any scenarios.

I reinstalled the game(again), verified the files and everything. and have the same error in my logs.

    Issue has been solved
I put a second hard drive in my computer and moved the installation folder to that hard drive... works perfectly now...
