Purchasing Problems During Dtg Sale

    I am having a problem receiving a product that I purchased in the DTG sale. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I made a purchase last Wednesday morning, immediately received a message from scalefast saying they had received payment from my paypal account and the payment for this item is clearly shown on my statement. Dovetail store support never responded, so I contacted Dovetail support this afternoon who responded quickly. I was informed that the transaction was cancelled, but not by me and as I said payment has been taken and I haven’t received the product. Awhile ago I lost out on a discounted item from a Dovetail weekly deal, when trying to purchase the item, the screen just froze. Everytime I cancelled and started again but after hitting the payment button the screen would keep freezing even though I used different devices. I eventually managed to buy that product later at a higher price. I hope I don’t have to do the same again to get this item.

    I would add that I have purchased a lot of products from Dovetail and compared to all that I have purchased over the years that these two transactions are in the minority. I have never had issues with Steam or Just Trains, so am wondering if something is wrong with DTG purchasing proceedure. Should I use steam in future?

    Yes 749006, I have done that and it was confirmed that payment was taken from my bank account. Not had any communication from my emails to Dovetail store yet. Patiently waiting!!!

    Never had this problem when purchasing from Steam, Just Trains or any other third party developer. Loathed to use DTG in future.

    I am pleased to inform, that everything was sorted satisfactory but DTG have no idea why the order cancelled after PayPal had taken payment. They saw that PayPal had received payment and allowed me access to the product. I am full of praise for the service that Chris and the guys on the support team give to us as customers. Great service from a great team. Thank you DTG
