Imho it would be very helpfull if neutral sections would show up on the track monitor. On German/Austrian routes during the day, the trackside signs are visible enough, but in the dark I often miss them. And on UK routes, I miss trackside signs even during the day.
it would be nice, but they would first have to be properly implemented... as of now only 4024 works on pretty much all of neutral sections, Vectron does on Semmeringbahn... other locos, including new 1116, dont cut power/throttle... so while this suggestion isnt bad, first they would have to properly implement this in German/Austrian locos atm the miniHUD shows traction lock, which happens when MCB is tripped/open (which happens if you fail to open MCB when needed) more details here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...entation-on-german-and-austrian-routes.80878/ plus I put in a support ticket, since this is an issue that should be addressed, at least in newer DLCs like Rosenheim or Vorarlberg (and Semmeringbahn as well, where only 4024 and Vectron react properly to neutral section) p.s.: this concerns the implementation in German and Austrian locos and routes on UK ones the workings and implementation is different
I think some routes in TSC show upcoming neutral sections on the HUD. However on the fence as if you put too much information on it, you spend more time watching the HUD than enjoying the actual route!
They only do if you give them Waypoints in the timetable (Keith Ross has placed destination markers in the route at each Neutral Section) - in scenarios ONLY Stops/GoVias and Waypoints given are shown in the HUD by design. In Freeroam, all markers are displayed. I don't know how that would work in TSW - probably routes have to be modified to feature a marker the HUD can read. Personally, I don't need it. If you miss it, the MCB should open automatically.
