The kids gave me the PS4 version of the train sim and I'm enjoying it a lot.

I'd like to purchase the computer version but the number of addons is significant ;-)

For starters, I'm looking at the Swiss lines (Arosa and Albula). Albula seems to have 2 addons. Do I need addon 1 to make addon 2 work?

The system requirements section does not mention anything about prerequisites.

So can someone give me a quick overview of what Swiss addons are standalone (with the game of course) and which ones have another addon as a prerequisite?

    Thanks

If you get them from Steam they generally work on their own. If you start getting things from third parties then they often have separate requirements

    The Albula line - https://store.steampowered.com/app/376966/Train_Simulator_Albula_Line_St_Moritz__Thusis_Route_AddOn/
comes with locos and stock - everything you need to get it running
    The first add-on - https://store.steampowered.com/app/448185/Train_Simulator_RhB_Enhancement_Pack_01/
gives you some more coaches and wagons to run different trains on the line
    The second add-on - https://store.steampowered.com/app/642803/Train_Simulator_RhB_Enhancement_Pack_02_AddOn/
gives a few more coaches and wagons and a new older locomotive
You need the main route and can run it straight away.
Add-ons 1 & 2 can only be used with the main route as they are just loco/coaches/wagons - but can be bought in either order if you want them

The Arosa line is a stand alone route and will run without owning the Albula line

    Hope this helps

Just so you’re not mistaken, what you have for the PS4 is Train Sim World (TSW) which is also available for the PC.

You’re talking about the Train Simulator series, currently in the 2018 iteration with TS2019 to be released shortly.

Be absolutely clear, they are different games entirely
