This is something I’ve not really thought about before as I play on Xbox but, having downloaded the Epic version on PC when it was free, I thought it might be worth investigating and seeing what is available for the three base routes. So my question is will these mods work on the Epic version and do they just drop into the DLC folder as most seem to with Steam?
As long as the mod has been updated to work with the new 4.26 update then yes they will work with the Epic version.
Enjoy. I’d strongly recommend sky mod and the route enhancement packs that are available with more branding. Really changes feel
There is also a bunch of sound mods, especially since on Epic the base game was for free, sound mods for SPG will help a lot.
I highly recommend this sound mod for SPG. It’s significantly enhances the experience of North American diesels. https://mods.trainsimcommunity.com/...s/i911-sand-patch-grade-locomotive-audio-mods Also, I’m a big fan of the rain visuals mod: https://mods.trainsimcommunity.com/...-patches/i1229-tsw-2-rain-visuals-upgrade-426 Finally, if you wind up with several mods, they are very easy to manage with the Mod Manager utility, also highly recommend.
