Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows what add-on I’d have to buy to get the double-decker commuter train timetable on Munchen-Augsburg? Thanks, -Will
You can either buy Main Spessart Bahn which gives you the DB BR 146 with the dostos or you can get Rhur Sieg Nord which will give you that layer as well with the DB BR 143 The 146 and 143 do have audio issues though. Playing with the 146 may give you a headache because of the audio issues due to the train being louder than in tsw2020. Also the dostos still have blue lights illuminating on the roof so keep that in mind if you do decide to buy msb. Personally I would wait until rush hour comes out before buying MSB or RSN as the issues that I just described will be fixed when it releases but if you want to get those routes asap then I say go for it
Hi, So I purchased Ruhr-Sieg Nord, however the additional services are not appearing on the munchen Augsburg line. Any advice? Thanks again, -Will
Consoles have it disabled now due to performance problems (PS5 runs the same version as PS4). After Rush Hour PS5 should get a dedicated version and it will probably get enabled there, so... give it a month or two...
Ruhr Seig Nord does not give the Dosto layer. Only MSB will. The extra services (PC only) are: - Dostos (double deckers) and some freight services come through ownership of Main Spessart Bahn - Regional Express services with BR425 (in place of a BR440) come with Hauptstreke Rhein Ruhr - More freight services come with Rhein Ruhr Osten. Ruhr Seig Nord only allows the BR143 and BR155 to be used on services from MSB/RRO, it doesn't add any. On Munich-Augsburg, there are no extra services from any routes for those who are on console due to memory constraints and performance issues on PS4/XBone.
Note also that even if you have a 143 layer, the loco is too slow to keep to the passenger timetable on HMA.
There is a nice list of German synergies put together by breblimator : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1W5-ueaP4-UmdhZMKpdH0yTADmY4gNyMw_dRNi86G57o/edit?usp=sharing Rudolf also has a list among the many resources he has put together for TSW: https://www.hollandhiking.nl/trainsimulator/ Just click on TSW downloads.
