Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. So the CSX Ac4400cw Pack from TruRails Simulations that I believe was released like couple months ago I think, Does anyone know if you’ll still be able to install the pack and be able to play it in Train Simulator once installed, even though if you don’t have some of the requirements that are listed in there but if you have the pack installed and if you still want those requirements that are listed you can still purchase them Or do you need to have the requirements first, in order to play it or for it to work? I’m just curious cause I know that sometimes there are packs or files from certain websites like Railworks America and etc that have requirements that you need in order for it to work and all.
I presume you mean this pack - https://www.trurailsimulations.com/csx-road-bundle What is available to download is a Reskin so you need a base loco for it to work At the bottom of the page it says Requirements: -BNSF Dash 9 Loco Add-On -Union Pacific GP30 Loco Add-On -GP40-2 Loco Pack Add-On -Searchlight Simulations GE 7FDL16 - Sound Enhancement Pack -Searchlight Simulations GE GEVO-12 - Sound Enhancement Pack -Searchlight Simulations EMD 16N-710G3B - Sound Enhancement Pack I think the repaint might not work if you don't have the BNSF Dash 9 loco
Oh, okay awesome thanks! Yeah I have almost all of those except for the Union Pacific and the GP40-2, but if I don’t have those two locos, will the pack still work or will I still be able to play it and then once I get the chance I can buy the Union Pacific and the GP40?

Cause I mean I have some rolling stocks from like RRmods and so on and so maybe I could use those for now until I get those two locos but yeah is that the reason? I mean I just wanna make sure so that before the pack I can make sure that am still be able to play it and all.
Correct, if by Union Pacific you refer to the DTM GP30. https://store.steampowered.com/app/277759/Train_Simulator_Union_Pacific_GP30_Loco_AddOn/ The reason is because you have to copy the locomotive model file from the folders of the packs called geos (short for the file extension of .geopcdx), and put them in the reskin's folder. (It can be explained in more detail in the readme accompanying the pack.) So without those "geo" files, as well as things like audio and physics, then you won't be able to load it in game. Now just because you don't have one (GP30/40-2) doesn't mean you can't drive the other that you do have (Dash 9). So in your case you don't have the GP30 or GP40-2, but you can still drive the AC44 without an issue, as it's independent from those "sub packs". The RRmods cars will also be able to work just fine, as those are unrelated. So you won't be able to play the entire pack, but you can drive a part of it (AC44).
