PC Question About The Rog 37

I am trying to connect the ROG 37 to the GWB Mark 1 Brake Van with a 387 (God mode mod if anyone is curious). Is it possible to swap the Electrostar Coupler with a traditional BR-era coupler?

 

How about 37- BBA (steel wagon from TVL)- Mk1

 

does that do the same thing with the electrostar coupler?
I am trying to connect a 387 to the 37 then connect the same 37 to the mk1 brake van
