If i turn a layer off,for example Northern Trans Pennine,am i still able to use the Class 45 or Class 101 on other routes in free roam? Or have i got this all wrong.lol
You're just turning off the layer from that route's timetable. You can still use it on other routes and add anything in free roam.

Also, the layer is only disabled for AI and scenery. You can still pick a layered service from menu and drive it. Atleast that was the case when I disabled HSTs on Riviera Line. The AI HSTs were gone, but I could still drive them.
