DTG are saying that if you bought one of the UK, US or German editions you only need to buy locos from the other two countries that you didn’t buy from. I bought for my xBox the steam edition, which included the three new routes and the Steam route and locomotives. Do I need to buy the new loco pack or one of the country editions?
You can either buy the loco pack which is for the base 3 routes (skw, sehs, cajon) or buy it separately if you don't want each loco. And it's no longer coupled to a route so you can just buy it alone to use in scenario planner of course
Thank you rennekton#1349, that’s what I believed, but those who bought the one route edition do not need to buy that loco, so was wondering if you needed to buy the full pack if you bought the combined set plus the sos?
You don't need to. You can buy whichever you want and use it. You can buy the bundle or buy 1, buy 2, etc.
Well I bought this on console this morning and am pretty disappointed as it is mainly a rebranding of liveries of locos we already have. I also play the game on steam so certainly will NOT be additionally purchasing it for my PC
They did say the locos that were in this pack, and the timetable changes they bring. If you want locos absolutely new to the game (ie never featured in any form before) then this sort of pack won't give you that but without these packs you won't get the timetable changes either, so it works both ways
