I have a problem. I don't know if I'll buy TSW3, due to my fear of Xbox One (so 8th gen) just not being powerful enough to handle it without often crashing. If I will, then later in the year, when most of initial bugs will be fixed. I also hope for some performence improves. (I think I found a way to improve it: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/posts/551521/ ) Why do I talk about it? I consider buying a DB BR 204 add-on, but I'm afraid, that if I'll purchase Preserved Collection now, after realease of TSW3, when TSW Compatible add-ons were given to players to replace respective Preserved Collection add-ons. Or maybe TSW Compatile is also compatible with TSW2? Please help me.
Thank you! Should I delete all PC (Preserved Collection) add-ons and replace them with TSWC (TSW Compatible) ones?
No. There's only one TSW2 and one TSW3 version of each dlc and for each gen console, you get both games' versions however you bought an expansion, and the correct one for your game will be installed regardless of how you purchased it. The xbox install manager does all that behind the scenes.
Princess Entrapta is correct. DTG have made this all very seamless. If you own TSW2, you needn't uninstall anything, and if you buy TSW3, you do not need to buy everything again! Theoretically, it's great! But, as with anything, there will be teething issues (some of which Princess Entrapta may or may not have experienced!)
Just to ensure, so regardless of which version will be bought I will get the other? (I'll get TSW Compatible DAB BR 204 if I'll buy Preserved Collection DB BR 204 and vice versa)
