    Hi everyone,

If, like me, you like to mess with the weather in your scenarios, and obviously own the AP Sky & Weather Enhancement pack, you might be frustrated to not be able to trigger some of these delicious extension weather patterns randomly.

So I came up with my own script, with ease of use in mind, that >you can find here<.
Make sure to read the attached manual !

Feel free to modify it and/or include it in your scenarios, as long as I'm still credited in the script headers :)

    Hope that will be useful,
    François

Random weather would be a nice chance to constant sun or rain in a scenario.

How do you install or run your script though?

First you have to get AP's enhancement pack if you don't own it.
Then read AP's manual to get accointed with how Extension patterns work, how to edit a scenario...
As stated in AP's manual, a big limitation is they don't work in career scenario (this is due to TS).
Then all you have to do is to use my script instead of AP's ;)

I wish this would work in Quick Drives.

I think it’s because quick drives are seen as the “lesser” scenariotype. But in fact it’s the only one that can have random events. And therefor the only one that i like.

I updated my R-Weather script to include completely random showery patterns.
The idea is that with a single instruction at the beginning of your scenario, the script will create a "program" of showers throughout your scenario, at random times and of random nature.

I hope it will be useful for some of you :)

You can find it at the link in the first post with an updated manual.
