This is an odd one. The throttle control on my Raildriver does not work on the HH600 in the G-Trax route Boston & Albany. All other functions (levers and buttons) work on this Loco using the RD 64 bit drivers software. Now, even more interesting is that the throttle control (lever) does work on the HH600 in the G-trax Maine Maritime route along with all other functions and buttons. Why does the same loco throttle function (lever) work on one route and not the other, both routes from G-Trax. Member American Steam suggested I use the RD Cobra Software which did indeed solve the problem on the HH600 but left me now with an inoperable headlight on the Alco PA-1 in the B & A route. The headlight does work with the RD OEM software. Keying the headlight icon in the F4 HUD made no difference. Neither using the H key on the keyboard. The HUD light icon was stuck on 2. No amount of keying would release it. I tried using alternative lever and button options but I could not find one that worked for the PA-1. Does either software get its data from an Input Mapper file for a particular loco? Any suggestions?
If you have inoperable buttons then you are not running the software as an administrator. Operate the headlights from the switch inside the cab for the PA-1as a workaround. You can also edit this in the keymaps/levermap/edit levermap. Navigate to lights and see if it is enabled. Sometimes there is a conflict and you might disable lights to test. Follow the save prompts. Do not save to other files. I do not have the B&A PA-1 so I can't look at the levermap.
