Figured that, just weird. Had to reinstall TSW 5, just to get the calibration to work. Thanks for the response.
reinstall game should not be needed is there not an ini that is created like RailDriver.ini? at least that was the case years ago when i was using my raildriver never really got into it it should be in my games\TrainSimWorld5\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Never seen that. But then I never unplug my RD. Must be a memory residual effect or something. I hope you're not going to tell me it's functional In game too.
I couldn't get it to calibrate no matter what I did, I even deleted the .ini file. Worked fine in TSW 4. Once I did a clean install of TSW 5, the calibration worked. I'm thinking it was a mod conflict.
Lazy developers not giving a toggle option in-game... Just disable Rail driver in Windows Device Manager.
This is something I ran into with my PC Win11 x64, and with a totally unrelated device(s) after doing a bit of research and checking to make sure I don't somehow void the warranty, seeing the way Windows has changed over the years. I don't completely understand it myself, but. It has to do with the system memory and USB devices, and I/we have a fair amount USB devices connected to our PCs and what has worked for me several times now, unplugging all USB devices, except the mouse and keyboard, shutdown the PC, once off turn off the PUS and unplug it. Wait Ten(10) minutes. while waiting this allows all residual energy/power held in the system/caps/motherboard to dissipate, while also clearing what is held in memory, and if I/we/you connect and disconnect USB devices somewhat often, the system holds that bit of info to make it easier when A device is reconnected, over time it gets cluttered, it's like clearing your throat. Plugin the PSU, plugin all USB devices, turn on PSU power and boot up the PC, and this is why I avoided swapping USB devices.
