The railway route Mainz - Mannheim (Bahnstrecke Mainz-Mannheim) which has a length of 67 kilometers would be a great way to connect the Mannheim to Frankfurt (via the S-Bahn Frankfurt DLC). If this route would come in TSW6 you could drive from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe to Mannheim due to the route hopping function. The maximum speed in this route is 160 km/h. Also the scenary of Rheinhessen and the vineyards and also the Rhine would be great. Between Mannheim and Mainz you can drive the S6 (Mannheim-Worms-Mainz), the RE14 (Mainz-Worms-Mannheim) and the RE4 (Mainz-Worms-Ludwigshafen~Karlsruhe) Also some IC and ICE lines and freight traffic to Mannheim Gbf or Ludwigshafen Gbf. For the developer team of DTG, this route is makeable because the are already parts of this route in TSW 5 for example Mannheim to Ludwigshafen (in Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn: Mannheim to Kaiserslautern) or Mainz and Mainz Römisches Theater. Which trains are required for this route? For the Services of the RE4 and RE14, the BR 429 (Stadtler Flirt 3 with Süwex Livery) is required. For the Service of the S6 the BR463 (Siemens Mireo with S-Bahn Rhein-Necker Livery) is needed. The date of the route could be 2023. That would mean that there are two new trains. So i would recommend to change the date of the route to 2018 because the BR425 was still running there instead of the Mireo. The Flirt 3 would be a new train and would also be avaiable on Mannheim-Kaiserslautern and S-Bahn Frankfurt.
