I decided to uninstall ts2022 and then reinstall onto my new drive as I was unable to move the folders via steam (I was getting disk write error). After uninstalling through steam - It seams that that has deleted my entire rail woks folder. I had tonnes of third party addons routes and stocks - Where did they go??

Have you looked in your Recycle Bin? Is there still a Railworks Folder on your computer?
I think in uninstalling the game it has removed everything.- Did you not bother backing up your DLC?
Re-installing on a different drive will bring back all the DLC you purchased thru Steam but not third party items.
Most Third Party Payware can be re downloaded from your account with the people you purchased them from

Steam does not delete the 3rd party files usually it leaves them behind. I would look at testing your drive you should not be getting disk write errors, unless your old hard drive failed?

Sorry for late response but yeah it looked like all those folder got deleted when I selected to uninstall TS via Steam. Since then have managed to install TS again from scratch on new drive and installing third party stuff one by one again, took me couple of days to install everything again. But back to where I was and lesson learned, Never uninstall TS through steam again.

I am not sure why I was getting disk write error there, I had several others games on that drive and steam managed to move files for those with no problem. I checked status and health of my drive and it looks fine worthy. Maybe it was third party files with restricted write access or something. Nevertheless managed to install TS again on new drive including third party stuff again - It was long work

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... as have so many others. Make a back up of your Railworks folder. None of these things will happen if you have a back up.
I'm glad to hear it... now make a back up of it.
