I couldn't see a suitable thread for my question so thought I'd start one for any random questions people might have. Anyway, my random question is, on TVL, there are some buildings with a flashing yellow light on and also under a bridge support. What was the purpose of these, do they flash to let me know I'm speeding again in the 101 because I'm terrible with the brakes?
That's one of the "collectables" on this route. If you walk up to these lamps, you'll magically fish a six-foot-long fluorescent tube out of your posterior and replace it, so the lamp works correctly again. Also keep an eye out for rusty location cabinets with the door hanging open - same deal.
Lol! And there was me thinking it was some amazing obscure signalling system from the 80s! Thanks! I've never really been into collectibles but have made a start since getting Blackpool. (Which is also the reason why I've decided to give the 101 another go)
