Originates at Newark Penn, terminates at High Bridge. Splits after Roselle Park. One line is strictly NJ Transit, the other is freight for NS/CSX. Line rendezvous in Bound Brook Can introduce the PL42, GP40-PH, F40PH I honestly think it would be a perfect route for anyone who’s looking for a bit of variety & scenery. It’s also one of the major freight routes in New Jersey, going westward towards Pennsylvania or eastward towards Maher Terminal or points northeast. Just a thought.
