Good afternoon, everyone. I hope you're all well. I've always thought TS could do more variety, and 15-inch gauge would be most welcome. However, as we do not have it, 2ft will have to take its place for now. Wayside Works' excellent Kerr Stewart 0-4-0 gives a good representation of what it would be like though, with no.15 now in the form of Bonnie Dundee. I know 15-inch gauge material will not interest some of you, and we do not currently have any in-game. I believe this comes from a limitation with the track when the back-to-backs are so narrow. However, one route that has always interested me (partly because of the severe grades, mostly because of the rolling stock) is the R&ER. It's breathtaking scenery, mighty engines, and mighty grades make for a most interesting drive. I have only just started this route, and early progress is being made as you can hopefully see from the pictures. While there are limitations in what is achievable with the materials at hand, the track is now in place including the line's gradients. Both turntables are operational, however, due to the one-track exit, both ends have points to alter the roads to run round. Rather enjoyable seeing Scarfell Pike looming in the background at Dalegarth. Still a very long way to go, but we all have to start somewhere! On a separate topic, I wondered if anyone had any experience in the 3d modelling world, I'd certainly like to have some custom assets for this route and am eager to learn how to create. Any advice would be much appreciated. Best wishes to you all, and if there's any interest in this, I will continue with updates. If anyone has any thorough details on the line, please do get in touch. Goodbye for now and have a lovely day.
