So we now have three German routes in the Ruhr area. We need something new. What about the route from Kassel to Göttingen? It's a new and very beautiful area, you drive along the river Werra, through hills and on slopes. Special about that route is: The RB 8 runs coupled together with the RB 7 from Göttingen to Eichenberg, where they get separated from each other. The RB 7 goes on towards Eschwege and the RB 8 towards Kassel. The trains running on that route are Flirts built by Stadler. The operator of the trains is Cantus. They are colored blue-orange-grey what would give us a new feeling because the last German trains were all red. Here's a picture: The route from Kassel to Göttingen is about 49 km long which I think is not too long to build. At Eichenberg, the RE 9 running with Talent 2s and the RE 2 running with Desiro Classics join the line up to Kassel but that is less important than the RB 8 to me
