Newbie just downloaded and installed the LIR pack. During the intro it asked me to use the external camera; which I done successfully, then it asked me to hit the triangle button on my PS4 controller to switch to the Driver’s mode. I done that numerous times and nothing happened. I also tried hitting every button on my PS4 controller, as well as my attached USB keyboard without success as well. What am I doing wrong? P.S. During the start up of LIR; it said that it automatically changed my settings from Immersive to the standard Classic mode?? Could that be part of the problem?
Hold down R3, select internal camera, then driver's seat. Your tutorial should then continue. Any scenarios in preserved collection routes will switch you to the classic controls temporarily.
This same thing happened to me the other day - I think it was on the 1st tutorial for the Preserved Trans-Pennine. Kept on asking me to press Triangle to continue but just wouldn't register the press, even though I could change the camera options using R3 and so on. Is this the new update perhaps? The tutorials can behave eccentrically though - I had a not-too-dissimilar issue on East Coastway not long ago too. It's a real shame - it's not game breaking, but certainly offputting. Hopefully DT can fix this!
I just downloaded and started the LIRR pack and am also stuck during the opening tutorial. When it wants you to press triangle, nothing happens and only Internal camera option is Passenger, so can't complete it.
yeah it happens to me on all preserved introductions whenever you’re asked to ride first as a passenger, look outside and then press triangle to return to the driver mode
There is a bug introduced with an update that caused some preserved introduction tutorials to break. Currently, it is not possible to toggle camera/driver mode as a passenger.
