Hi guys, as the ICE 4 has gotten much negative feedback, I wanna know what you think about it, the design, comfort, etc. I think the ICE 4 is a pretty OK train (even though if you asked me 5 months ago I would’ve said I hate it). The design is kinda special but I personally like it.
I haven't been on any ICE Train yet. To answer the OP's question the design of the ICE 4 looks ok. Not the best of the ICE family though.
I used an ICE 4 twice. And both were because my beloved ICE1 with seat reservation got cancelled. The first ride was with the old seats. And it was kinda rough not gonna lie. For some reason the old seats in the ICE3, even though they are the same I believe, felt more confortable. The secound ride was with the new seats, and it was much more confortable. Funny enough this also gave me a partial refund since the train was 1hour and 3 minutes later at my station, which for the time barely qualified me for a 25% refund. For the external design, I used to hate them, but I now grew quite attached to it. The ICE4 is actually my favourite train to drive in Zusi, hopes it gets to TSW. One last thing, while everyone seems to hate the beeping sound at stations, a actually quite like it. Helps me to relax weirdly.
