Well, out of all the locomotives I've suggested, and only one out of all of them being developed for TSC (thanks Reppo for taking my E60 suggestion into consideration, really appreciate it and love the dlc to no end), I'd love to see the Rebuilt CSX GP38-3 as a pro range locomotive dlc for TSC, maybe something Diesel Workshop or Reppo might be interested in. DTG did do a pretty decent job with their GP40-2 pack and, in my opinion, it's one of the few times they've actually managed to make something good. Yes, I'm highly aware of the Class 370 APT-P they did, which I heard was great, but again, that's one of the few times they've actually gotten a dlc done right.

The GP38-3, well there's nothing to really say about it due to very little information being available. The only thing really known about the CSX GP38-3 is that it's a GP38-2 that was rebuilt into a new locomotive called a GP38-3, with a cab very similar to the SD40-3.

So, according to Trains, 22 units were to be rebuilt into GP38-3s in 2014 and are numbered in the 2000s. My guess would be that since there are 22 units to be rebuilt, the numbers would be 2000-2022. CSX 2000 already exists and was seen at the time, along with a GP40-3 carrying coal hoppers.

CSX GP38-3s are said to have the following:
    Upgraded Cabs
    Electronic Handbrakes
    Auto Start
    Positive Train Control
And a new traction control system

That is until I found maybe a small amount of useful information from here CSX SD40-3 and GP38/GP40 Dash 3 Series - WVNC Rails

So, the GP38-3 roster was 2000-2019, then went from 2019-2031, then to 2039, then to 2063 by 2017 in July.

    Here are the specs:
    2000 Horsepower
    55,400 Pounds of Tractive Effort
    Digital Video Recorder
    Equipped with ONX Software
    ERAD
    Air-conditioned cab
Remote Control Capability which isn't active

And that's all the info I could find.
