PlayStation Red Light Save Bug - Any Solution Or Workaround Incoming?

This is frustrating, I love this game, bought DLC and want to buy more but I play the game in short bursts and red lights not changing after saving is just ruining the game. I only play freight and you can waste a ton of time going through a long route just to be stopped 2 miles at the end.

Please do something to address this. Even some type of workaround would be fine. Add a setting that can be toggled to allow the user to force a light change, even if there is a risk of collision its better than failing outright. In most cases we can see the other train we are waiting on and know when its safe.

It appears to be a bug for years, and really needs to be addressed in a game that is still actively producing and selling content.

Prefix is Playstation, but this bug is across all versions.
