Hi everybody , I'm running a train to shields depot with ' collector' scenario...where we need to help a breakdown train....But the signaml remains red....even after 10mn....do you know why?
I can't remember that particular scenario, but have you tried Tab / Contact Signaller to see if you need permission to pass the signal at danger?
nice adobe aero advertising lmao you either have to wait even longer, or there is a bug. or try calling the signaller (easily done by pressing TAB and then selecting signaller at the top) so he gives you the path free to the depot
How long have you waited? It might just be a case of waiting longer. What did the dispatcher tell you?
Did you drive backward the whole time? You're supposed to drive forward after the planned signal stop.
Wouldn't it be nice if DGT just could make a "red light passer" for situations like this? Something like the jailbreak shortcut when you got stuck underneath the scenery when the outside camera got too close to the train.
No, a red light is a red light. And it is red because your path is not set. The OP has been driving backward all along on the wrong track, instead of coupling, reversing and moving forward again. I've just completed that one successfully.
Ah, okay. I thought about what your clue was that he drove backwards. I thought about the distance indicator. However, for something like the red signal bug in the 143 tutorial in DRA (which is fixed now), but wouldn't it be helpful to have a jailbreak shortcut for bugs like that?
That would have made you crash into that freight train in DRA. The red signal is not an error but the indicator of an error - on DRA it was the player's path into the Gegengleis
The section is occupied by a failed train, so a change to green will never happen. You need to use the TPWS override and pass that red signal at a very low speed. If you pass it without interaction, you will get an emergeny brake.
As I think you either didn't understand it or it didn't worked, Spike has provided an explanation to you why it couldn't work. It seems like you didn't followed the instructions correctly and end up going backwards to a place where you should not proceed. This is why you're stuck at this red signal probably. You shall go the other direction.
