I've just attempted for about the 5th time to complete the Refurbishing Refresh Scenario on WCML South. You have to take an empty train from Wembley to Euston then change ends and drive it to Watford Junction where you're supposed to meet another Pendolino which I did. However it didn't tell me to shut my cab down on arrival. So it's not completed correctly. How am I supposed to complete it? I've watched videos and it should tell you to shut the cab down but it doesn't.
I don't understand. Have you tried shutting down the cab before changing ends? That's what I did last time I played it and then it works. Understand it doesn't tell you to, but wonder if this would let you
After arriving at WFJ, if you shut it down even though you’re not prompted, does the scenario then complete? I might give it a go
I think I tried it but to now avail. It just says Lock doors, which I did, but didn't move on to end the scenario.
Some scenarios, or even services, have notorious stop markers where you need to hold almost exactly on top of it to trigger. Sometimes it also helps if you moving the train 1 or 2 meters forward after closing doors. That triggers he end of the scenario / service.
Thats strange, I have it completed from months ago. I wonder if something has caused a bug to prevent it from ending. I do remember shutting down the cab though at Watford.
I have tried it twice now with same result. I arrived at Watford Junction at the same time as the other train but scenario stops advancing once I lock the doors, making it impossible to finish it.
Same here, other parts of the scenario can be completed just fine but it gets stuck after locking the doors at Watford Junction and even if you shut down the cab by yourself it still doesn't end. Did a recent update break it as I have watched a few gameplay videos completing the scenario with no issues? (I'm playing on PC)
How do I finish this scenario ? I arrived at Watford Junction platform 6 at 06:40 after locking the doors it said something about not arriving at the same time as another train. Another 390 arrived 3 minutes later on platform 7. What time do I need to arrive at ?
Didn’t work, I waited for the other train to arrive before opening the doors that worked, but the last 3 steps didn’t which are throttle off, reverser off master key off then it should complete. It stays at close doors and works as if I’ve returned to free roam.
DTG Harry Would you mind reporting this to dev please - 2nd similar thread I've seen about the issue, though not yet had a chance to try the scenario for myself since the past couple of updates. Was a fun one when I last played it though, so would be a shame if it's broken. Thank you
I completed this on xbox and got a platinum but I did do it when it was 1st released so the updates could have bugged it.
This ones on me and have a ticket written up. There's multiple endings depending if you make it there within 5 minutes of the other train but with how much the route and the stock has been updated it is possible something may have affected the scenario.
Update on this from another thread (phil8715 qliq#1351 EchoKilo tkkbxf) Small price to pay for how much Liam's work has improved the route, but good that he has a ticket in so hopefully it will be fixed.
Can confirm the bug. Doesn't matter if you get the positive or the negative message, the scenario won't progress to the next stage/task (shutting down the train) and is just stuck. Tried several times.
After the update, the first scenario of the 390 model cannot be completed. The task should conclude when the train stops, but there is no prompt, and even manually stopping the train does not complete the objective. The game remains stuck in this state.
It hasn't been fixed, I submitted a ticket and they said they would investigate it. Got an email yesterday to say they were closing the ticket. So I thought they must have fixed it so I played it again and it's still broken. Until it is fixed I won't be buying anymore dlcs.
I get the same on Xbox Series X. Get there in good time then sat like a lemon waiting for something to happen! Second issue with scenarios on this route

I have a problem whit the pantograph, once arrive at Euston the game tell you to put it down before change cab, after the journalist take a photo whit you and the train, you have to change cab and the light of line volt won't go on even if you follow the instruction and the train won't move. This on PS5, anyone having same problem whit pantograph at Euston?
I sent a support ticket in, got an acknowledgement, then another email saying they're were looking into it. Received a further email a day later saying they're closed the ticket. They wanted me to send in game footage which I'm not able to do as I don't have the equipment such as a game capture card.
