Hi, I have the TS-2021 simulator and I am having trouble with the following on the A4 union south Africa train: After a minute I receive a note that the loco is out of water. How do I go about placing more water in the unit? omegle xender Also, how do I go about moving the Large vacuum steam injector , the Exhaust steam injector and last the live steam injector to the correct positions? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
This is certainly not a definitive answer but I do all that by having the automatic fireman on (in the gameplay settings). It has to be said that the auto-fireman in TS is not that good. IRL a fireman would have to know the route as well as the driver and anticipate what would be needed since varying the power is nothing like as simple in a steam engine as moving a throttle lever or the loud pedal in a car. He'd have to build up steam when approaching a climb, back off when when he knew the train would be coasting or slowing, know when he could top up the boiler (which reduces the pressure) without affecting the performance etc. By contrast the TS auto-fireman just does everything it can to constantly raise steam which means you spend you spend quite a lot of time in kettles listening to the safety valves blowing. It'll usually get you where you're going though and, if you give it a name, you can swear at it realistically when it does something stuped like waiting to get to the foot of Shap before turning the injectors on.
