I noticed that most of the DLC for China routes in the game is about high-speed trains, and I don't know if it's because the theme of high-speed trains is more profitable.
I think China themes should focus on the content from the 1990s to the 2010s. This period is the era with the richest content of China's railway lines. you can see steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives ,and high-speed trains running simultaneously.
and during this period, the passenger carriages had a very diverse range of skins.(until 2014, all skins turned green. I hate this) ,even freight trains come in different colors.
those old, ordinary trains actually have higher popularity. Just like the DLC for DF11G, that's a great theme.
also steam locomotives, even railway enthusiasts in European and American countries should be familiar with (type-forward steam locomotives), right,In the 1990s, a large number of enthusiasts came to China to shoot its images.
the most popular themes for diesel locomotives and electric locomotives are the (Dongfeng-DF) and (Shaoshan-SS) series, their family is large and they took on the main role during this period.
In the game, almost all ordinary trains are (harmony-HXD) serie. their popularity is relatively low.
additionally, there is another question. all China train emblem in the game has been removed. perhaps game developers believe that this involves infringement. actually, there's no need to worry about this issue. this symbol is used as a national representative. not belonging to any specific company. just like you can use the national flag in the game. and deleting this emblem will have a significant impact on the vehicle's skin. In the skin design of many trains, there is a prominent emblem on the front. If you delete it, the skin will become unsightly.
as for the selection of routes, the China routes in the game are currently very unsuccessful. developers should use China's most important and complex railway hubs as materials. and now at least half of the DLC's routes are deep in the mountains, with tunnels everywhere. very boring.
It's also difficult to see huge stations and marshalling yards, these should be the characteristics of China railway lines.
okay, that's what I want to say to the developer.
If anyone here is interested in China routes, I am also happy to share and discuss with them.

That is the Kowloon Canton Railway KCR Hung Hom to Guangzhou via Lo Wu. Keep in mind the British government modernized the Hong Kong section of the line therefore Chinese locomotives going to or from Hong Kong need AWS TPWS DSD besides CTCS Equipment. The electric locomotive that can only go to Hong Kong is the SS8 DF11 diesel. Send a HXD2/HXD1/HXD1D to Hung Hom via Lo Wu it would end up blowing the British era substations. That is why they are always detached at Guangzhou for Hung Hom. Although they don't use it anymore for sleeper trains instead they used to high speed trains since last summer
