NO IT has NOT. NOT ON THE PS4 ANYWAY THEY STILL HAVE NOT PATCHED LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LATER TO DAY IT HAS NOT Happened & i am not going to re-purchase the Add-ons at £25 each

 

The update is still rolling out on PlayStation, this will require some time. You don't need to re-purchase anything, just have some patients. Reinstalling has also been known to help.

am reinstalling the whole poxy thing as items in the store had two drop downs both saying add on, same release date (when originally released) but no way to download? Or download again what’s already installed.

it’s great to have the extra info on the link posted by Nat but it’s still not clear at all.

basically reinstall is hinted for early keen adopters who updated while the store items for DLC was being updated.

they should have said don’t touch the game in between.

Or updated the store to sync better with the core update (which would have still had busted down time)

You haven't lost anything, its just not available fully yet until the second update gets to you, just wait.

so PS4 base reinstalled. Loads, three regular routes. All load and the usual error of “dlc doesn’t match” blah blah is no more.

downloaded Boston and again this loaded fine too.

shall skip the other DLC’s for now as there could be one that will duff the install up again.

dear DTG, telling us all to download routes…. That we already have installed. It’s stupid.

did anyone follow the steps you have advised?

you have to remove to download/install, you can’t just click download again!!

why or why even would we add something we already have on the console? Manage content isn’t an option.

I stayed up last night like an excited saddo and tried to create a useful thread as… what was I thinking just wanted to help folk with easy questions and provide some missing guidance.

I would brand the whole PS4 update “a series of unfortunate events”

(oh keep seeing the same question, no idea if anyone will read it here seeing as so many new posts…. Removing the game, saves are kept elsewhere and your progress, profile, liveries etc will be waiting for you once you install the base again. Nervous much? Upload to PLUS if you have or a simple copy to a external drive or USB

 

Basically what he is saying is that still, none of the DLC is working yet (even though DTG have said it's sorted). He's in for a surprise when he finds out the core update is full of bugs and constantly crashes to a blue screen in every scenario too, to the point it even crashed when I was just walking around in Peninsula Corridor Scenario and I wasn't even in a train. I've given up for today, it's a total shambles, but why would we expect more, when they haven't even had the decency to add brightness adjustments or any video settings on our version of TSW2. To add insult to injury when the start screen came up this evening I was greeted with a news update about how everything was sorted and all I need to do if nothing was working was uninstall everything and start again, way to go DTG, we've screwed up, but if you can just reload absolutely everything, it'll work, needless to say it doesn't work.
