Steam Reminder: Sos Is Mostly Still A Broken Mess And Needs Fixing, Guys.

I'm not going to let this slide because I'm honestly kinda miffed about it. When I purchased TSW3, I bought the pack that included Spirit of Steam because I was SPECIFICALLY interested in steam engines. For closing on a month now, I've been unable to enjoy that content because most of the scenarios and timetable runs will fail at some point through the run because an AI driver passed a red (also known as a spurious SPAD). This is an issue that they promised would be fixed by the next patch delivered for the game, and since that point, I've seen it updated at least twice on Steam. The issues still persist.

 

It's next patch. The previous patch earlier this year didn't focus on the issue. They couldn't fit it in.

 

I just hit one of those in the rail journey...how do you even miss a bug this abrasive in QC? Completely takes the joy out of what is other wise a fun concept.

 

They only just got around to fixing the derailments that began on just about every route in the game around the time SoS launched. AI SPADs on SoS are next in line.
