This bug has been present since TSW 3 and I find it quite annoying. After the first time you use a new route or train the bright blue ‘new’ banner on the thumbnail should be removed or just get rid of the feature all together, if you can’t find a dlc use search bar.
To this day, it escapes me why they thought it'd be a good idea to keep it. The only routes I have that are "new" and worthy of the banner are WCML (North and South), Suffragette Line, Fife Circle. All others I've owned for at least a year or more.
