    How do I remove threads?
Want to know if I want to remove a thread that I have already found an answer for it.

AFAIK you can use Thread Tools to change to title to something else - like Resolved but I don't think you can remove it
You could use the Report button to ask a Moderator to remove it

This is the usual "forum suggestion" because they're meant to be for more than one person, ie if you have a question it's likely others will too

One thing you shouldn't do it empty the main post etc. This is called a "dirty delete" and is bad web etiquette (if you care about such things)

You can also ask a moderator to lock the thread to new posts. Therefore anyone with the same question can still find your thread and get an answer. Then they'll make their own thread so they can get a tailored and personalised response because that's how this community works apparently.

Not normally required, but it's possible

If you post with a link to the answer you found that will likely end further posting, but since these aren't private threads people are at liberty to pick them up and add to them as they see fit, subject to the board rules.
