Hello everyone. Inspired by another thread, "Ap Stock Discontinuation Updates" created by inversnecky. I want to make a thread about Train Simulator Classic content that was taken off the Steam store, as there is lots to discuss in my opinion about the topic. However, I don't know if there are others who have interest in this topic like I do so I don't even know if this thread will go anywhere, but here goes! Here's a small list that I will update probably from replies if some appear, of removed DLC that I am aware of. It will feature 3 sections for things such as Locos, Routes and Marketplace items.
This is what a template for what the DLC will be listed as: Release Date (DD/MM/YYYY) - DLC Pack Name - Developer - ID
A "Still Available" will appear with that template for DLC that it applies to. This means that if a DLC has been removed from the Steam Store, but is still available in a bundle, an Amazon code, has been re-added as a Workshop route, etc. then "Still Available" will be applied to it. However this may not be 100% accurate as this is just based off the users in this threads knowledge. A more in detail Still Available section will below the main lists of Removed DLC if you want to know how you can get the Removed DLC that are still available in some way. An asterisk (*) will be put next to a Still Available sign only if it is still available but in a somewhat different form. For example, same removed loco but no scenarios included in a separate DLC currently available. (However I cannot be 100% certain on some of these)
Most of this information is from the SteamDB site which may not be official, but is very reliable from my experience.

    Still Available Specifics
Here's a section to describe the specifics of where you can find the "Still Available" removed DLC.

Railworks 8F Pack - Bundled with the Netherfield: Nottingham Network Route. Also bundled with an Amazon UK Game Code for the Class 111 DMU listed as "Class 111 DMU Add-On [Online Game Code]". You can only get the 8F from the Class 111 DMU on Amazon UK, you will not get it if you buy the Class 111 from Steam.
RailWorks Hall Steam Locomotive Pack - Looks identical to the GWR Hall Class included with the Falmouth Branch route. Something supporting this is that the Falmouth Branch route was released only a year after this DLC came out.
Railworks GXBerkshires DLC - Reuploaded to the Steam Store as the NKP S-2 Class 'Berkshire' Loco Add-On.
Railworks SPS Northerns DLC - Reuploaded to the Steam Store as teh SP&S E-1 Class 'Northern' Loco Add-On.
Railworks ChallengerPack DLC - Possibly re-released as the Union Pacific Challenger Loco Add-On.
HST Buffer Loco Add-On - Bundled with WCML North and the WCML + EWS Class 66 Twin Pack.
Railworks A1 Tornado Pack DLC - Looks exactly the same as the LNER/BR Class A1 'Tornado' Loco Add-On currently available for purchase on Steam.
Railworks Class 380 Pack DLC - Bundled with the Glasgow Airport Rail Link Add-on Route and it looks identical to the ScotRail Class 380 EMU Add-On currently available for purchase on Steam.
Railworks NS HighNose Pack DLC - Bundled with the Ohio Steel 2 route. Also seems to have been reuploaded to Steam as the Norfolk Southern SD40-2 High Nose Loco Add-On.
Railworks CN WideNose Pack DLC - I assume this has been reuploaded to Steam as the CN SD40-2 Wide Nose Loco Add-On.
Railworks Class 101 Pack - Seems to have been Re-released on the Steam Store as the BR Class 101 DMU Add-On, however it does not include the Network SouthEast livery included in the removed DLC's picture.
Railworks Class 02 Pack - Like the 8F, Bundled with a Class 111 DMU Code on Amazon UK. Listed on Amazon UK as "Class 111 DMU Add-On [Online Game Code]" but the Class 02 will not come with the Class 111 if you buy it from Steam.
Railworks 4MT Pack - Re-released on Digital Traction's website as a slightly upgraded version listed as "Class 4MTT Tank Loco".
Railworks Class56DLC - Same model and sounds used in this pack are in the currently available for purchase BR Sectors Class 56 Loco Add-On.
Railworks 2Ppack - Re-released on Steam Sounds Supreme's website listed as the "LMS 2P Locomotive" as an upgraded version with a revamped cab.
RailWorks 2 Flying Scotsman - Most likely the same LNER Class A3 as included in the LNER Class A3 'Flying Scotsman' Loco Add-On currently available for purchase on Steam but probably without it's original scenarios.
RailWorks 2 SD70ACe Pack - Most likely the same EMD SD70ACe as included in the Union Pacific SD70Ace Loco Add-On and / or the Union Pacific Heritage SD70ACes Loco Add-On available for purchase on the Steam Store but most likely without it's original scenarios.
Railworks 2 Class 31 Pack - Most likely re-released as the BR Class 31 Freight Loco Add-On currently on the Steam Store.
RailWorks 2 SD70M-2 Pack - Most likely re-released as the SD70 V2 Volume 2 Loco Add-On by Dovetail Games on the Steam Store.
RailWorks 2 SW1500 Switcher DLC - Most likely re-released as the SW1500 Switcher Loco Add-On by Dovetail Games on the Steam Store.
Railworks 2 Class 67 Pack - Most likely re-released as the EWS Class 67 Loco Add-On by Dovetail Games on the Steam Store.
Railworks BigBoyPack - Re-released on the Steam Store as the Union Pacific Big Boy Loco Add-On by Dovetail Games however probably does not include the removed DLC's scenarios.
Railworks 2 GP9Pack - (Most Likely) still available now readded to the Steam store as the GP9 Loco Add-On.
RailWorks 3 GWR56xx - Possibly re-released as the GWR 56XX Loco Add-On by Victory Works on the Steam Store but I am not 100% certain.
RailWorks 2 Class 60 - Considering this was made by Just Trains, it is probably the same Class 60 Advanced that is up for sale on the Just Trains website.
Railworks 2 P42DC Genesis - The model for this removed DLC was upgraded for the Amtrak P42 DC 'Empire Builder' DLC which is currently available. However the original, now removed P42DC Genesis had scenarios for Castle Rock scenarios that are no longer obtainable.
RailWorks 2 Class 86 Pack - Most likely the same Class 86 from the Class 86 Loco Add-On by Dovetail Games currently on the Steam Store. Probably also the same Class 86 included with the West Coast Main Line North Route Add-On by KrossRails and Dovetail Games, but only in the Intercity livery.
Railworks Class 390 Pack DLC - Looks exactly the same as the Class 390 EMU Add-On currently available for purchase on Steam.
Railworks 2 Class170Pack - Likely the same Class 170 featured in the BR Class 170 'Turbostar' DMU Add-On currently available on Steam. It should be noted that the re-released Class 170 DLC comes under Dovetail Games, while the original removed version comes under Thomson Interactive. So maybe they are different in some way but I cannot be 100% sure.
Railworks BNSF Dash9 Pack - Re-released on the Steam Store as the BNSF Dash 9 Loco Add-On.
Railworks Class57 - Re-released on the Steam Store as the Freightliner Class 57/0 Loco Add-On.
BR Class 117 - Available from Amazon UK as a game code. Listed on the Amazon website as "BR Class 117 DMU Add-On [Online Game Code]".
Union Pacific SD60M Loco Add-On - Bundled with the Sherman Hill Route and the Battle for Sherman Hill Collection.
Arriva Trains Wales Class 150/2 DMU Add-On - This is still available for purchase on Armstrong Powerhouse's website listed under the "Class 150/2 Diesel Multiple Unit Pack". The Steam version seems to have only come with the Arriva livery but the one on the Armstrong Powerhouse website comes with many more liveries as well as scenarios not just for South Wales Coastal, but for the Wherry Lines route also sold on Armstrong Powerhouse's website as well.
TGV Réseau & TGV-RDuplex EMU Add-On - Available for purchase on Aerosoft's website.
BR Stanier Jubilee Class Loco Add-On - (Most Likely) the same Jubilee Class that comes with the Settle to Carlisle route. However, this DLC comes with 3 liveries not available with the Settle Carlisle route to my knowledge. These liveries are British Rail Black, British Rail Green and Double Chimney LMS Crimson Lake. If you want this DLC with the additional liveries it can be bought as a game code from Amazon UK listed as "BR Stanier Jubilee Class Loco Add-On [Online Game Code]".
GWR King Class Loco Add-On - Available on Amazon UK as a game code listed as "GWR King Class Loco Add-On [Online Game Code]".
Railworks CN ES44DC Pack DLC - Bundled with the Fort Kent to Eagle Lake Route and the Ohio Steel 2 Route. However it presumably had scenarios that are no longer available.
Railworks CN SD40 Pack DLC - Bundled with the Fort Kent to Eagle Lake Route and the Ohio Steel 2 Route. However it presumably had scenarios that are no longer available.
Railworks GX Daylights DLC - Reuploaded to Steam as the Southern Pacific GS-4 Loco Add-On.
Saddle Tank Pack DLC - The livery in it's picture is the same as the light blue livery included in the 0-4-0 Saddletank Pack 2 Add-on Loco. I cannot confirm if it also included what is in the 0-4-0 Saddletank Pack 1 Add-on Loco. However, the new marketplace reupload of this pack does not include the scenarios that were originally included in the removed DLC.
Railworks V2Pack DLC - Presumably the same V2 included in the Settle Carlisle Specials Add-On. However this pack also came with a Black livery that is available separately for the V2 in the BR Robinson Class O4 pack however neither come with the scenarios that were originally included with this DLC.
Railworks ThePortRoad - Became the Western Lines of Scotland route currently available for Purchase on Steam.
Railworks 2 Granfield Branch Line DLC - Like the Class 02 and 8F, bundled with the Class 111. DMU Game Code on Amazon UK listed as "Class 111 DMU [Online Game Code]". You will only receive the Granfield Branch Line from the Class 111 if you buy the code from Amazon UK, you will not get it if you buy the Class 111 from Steam. Also uploaded to UKTS however this website will be shut down soon. There is also an improved version on the Steam workshop listed as "Granfield Revisited".
Portland Terminal Route Add-On - Re-uploaded to G-TraX Simulatons website as the Maine Maritime route.
Hatchet Hill Quarry Route Add-On - Still available through a Steam bug. Here is the link: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/11113/?curator_clanid=4777282&utm_source=SteamDB
Castle Rock Railroad - Reuploaded to the Steam Workshop listed as "[WS] Castle Rock Railroad" however with no scenarios that were originally included.
Hedborough North - Reuploaded to the Steam Workshop listed as "[WS] Hedborough North" however with no scenarios that were originally included.
Seebergbahn - Reuploaded to the Steam Workshop listed as "[WS] Seebergbahn" however with no scenarios that were originally included.
South Wales Coastal - Route is still available but modified. You would be getting the same section of route Bristol - Cardiff included in this removed DLC except with an extension to Swansea and without branding in the South Wales Coastal: Bristol - Swansea route currently available for purchase.
South Wales Coastal: Bristol - Swansea Route Add-On - Seems to be identical to the route that is currently available for purchase on Steam under the same name. However the currently available version does not have branded Arriva passenger trains but the removed version did.
North Wales Coastal Route Add-On - Bundled with Train Simulator 2018 available for purchase from Humble Bundle.
Bessemer & Lake Erie Route Add-On - Reuploaded to G-TraX's website as "Pennsylvania Steam"
North Wales Coastal Route Extension Add-On - Not available for purchase anywhere that I know of but you would be getting the same thing you would have gotten from this DLC if you buy the North Wales Coast Line route currently available for Purchase on Steam. However you would technically not be getting the same scenarios as the Extension DLC scenarios probably used the old Virgin Trains and Arriva rolling stock instead of the North Wales Coast Line now using Avanti West Coast and Transport for Wales rolling stock. Other than that I would assume the scenarios are the same.
Welsh Marches: Newport - Shrewsbury Route Add-On - Route seems to be the same as it is on the currently available version under the same name on Steam. However it does not have branding on many of the trains included but the removed version did have branding.
London Marylebone - Aylesbury Route Add-On - This route can still be purchased on Just Trains website listed as "London-Aylesbury" or if you have the Just Trains Chiltern Main Line: London-Birmingham route you can merge it with that route with a separate purchase listed as "Chiltern Main Line London-Aylesbury Extension".
Chiltern Main Line: London - Birmingham Route Add-On - It can still be purchased from Just Trains' website. It's listed on their store as "Chiltern Main Line: London-Birmingham".
Railworks TestTraK DLC - Bundled with the Pacific Surfliner LA - San Diego Route, the West Somerset Railway Route, the East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough route, the West Somerset Railway + WSR Diesels Twin Pack and the ECML London - Peterborough + FCC Class 321 Twin Pack.
Railworks GWRBset DLC - Re-released on Digital Traction's website as an upgraded version listed as "GWR 1930s B Set & Siphon".
Railworks Mk1Coaches DLC - Bundled with the Woodhead Route, the BR Class 76 & 77 Loco Add-On and the Robinson O4 + Woodhead Route bundle.
Railworks TEA Wagons DLC - Bundled with the Freightliner Class 70 Loco Add-On and Diesel Collection bundle.
Railworks DT Wagon Pack 01 DLC - Merged with another Digital Traction wagon pack available on their website which is listed as "British Railways Wagon Pack".
Railworks MJA Wagons DLC - Bundled with the Freightliner Class 70 Loco Add-On and Diesel Collection bundle.
Railworks AssetPack01 - Can still be acquired as it is bundled with multiple DLC available on Steam store, such as Doncaster Works Route Add-On, Falmouth Branch Route Add-On, Northeast Corridor: New York - Philadelpia Route Add-On, Horseshoe Curve Route Add-On, Woodhead Route Add-On, Portsmith Direct Line Route Add-On, Western Lines of Scotland Route Add-On, West Coast Main Line Over Shap Route Add-On, KwaZulu-Natal Corridor: Pietermaritzburg-Ladysmith Add-On and Wherry Lines: Norwich - Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft Route Add-On.
BR Blue Class 117 Add-on Livery - Available through a similar Steam Bug like Hatchet Hill Quarry. Here is the link: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/37251/?curator_clanid=4777282&utm_source=SteamDB

Thank you for letting me know of this one. It's been added to the list!

The Port Road - became Western Lines of Scotland
Portland Terminal - became Maine Maritime
Phorum Peninsula - became London Transport Heritage
Castlerock Railroad - rereleased on Workshop
    Seebergbahn - rereleased on Workshop
Hedborough North - rereleased on Workshop
Chicago Yard (route ID 00000031....) - removed, once bundled with GP9 pack (https://steamdb.info/depot/65223/)

NS SD40-2 HighNose (208354) - still available, but 4 scenarios removed (1 Cajon, 3 Castlerock. Note the Cajon Pass scenario is broken anyway due to a very old dispatcher version used and much traffic, the Castlerock scenarios are fine. Thinking of putting recreations of these on the Workshop)

Thanks! I added a couple of those that I could. The Chicago Yard I put down as the "Railworks 2 GP9Pack" becasue that's what the 65223 ID was for if that is alright with you. Also just asking, were the routes Phorum Peninsula, Castlerock Railroad, Seebergbahn and Hedborough North routes available with an old base game version of the game? Because nothing comes up for them on SteamDB so I've just listed a lot of their details as unknown.

    Hello Blazin,

I administered the RailWorks routes as 2011.09.23, as the entire edition was released on that day (alongside Horseshoe Curve).
    https://railworks.fandom.com/wiki/Castle_Rock_Railroad

I suspect you can add 2009 to the old packs. If you use ISO ;) then it's fine to miss the month/day from the end. The game was released on 2007.10.12, so anything between that and the 2009 Steam release can be true. Just for info's sake, here are the earliest routes I know about, aside from the European release above:
2008.01.16. Cajon Pass Route (US version of Rail Simulator)
    2009.09.04. Rascal & Cottonwood Route
    2009.09.25. Colton & Northern Route

Even the (S9BL) Class 158 manual comes with a (c) 2009, which could be a mistake but given quality specifics, I find it possible.

My records for North Wales Coastal indicate the following, plus I'd suspect the rest of the DLC to be hidden as well:
    2017.11.22. North Wales Coastal
    2019.02.14. North Wales Coastal Extension
2019.03.06. North Wales Coastal Scenario Pack 01

There may be a few more, only available bundled. Such as:
    2009.11.06. HST Buffer
2010.09.18. Green & Gold HST DMU
    2010.03.19. CN ES44DC
    2010.03.19. CN SD40
I'm sure there is more but I missed a lot myself, even though my standards were low and curiosity high :D

Thank you very much! The Class 158 is an old DLC from 2009 which I have added to the list! I was able to add the HST Buffer DLC with good details as well. However there are some unknown details about the CN ES44DC and CN SD40, like you said most likely bundled but I have added them to the list anyway because they had their IDs and it had "DLC" in their name. Also, the Green & Gold HST is still available on Steam.

They are-were available at the very last with Ohio Steel 2. Check my fancy spreadsheet, tab 3 :)
(The CN locos were also shipped with Fort Kent, thus they're there.)
I think Torfmeister was the one having a run a year or so ago (and/or Cyclone), restoring the original scenarios as Fort Kent actually used them. Their current iteration, however, uses the generic UP locos but still bundle them. I've also seen Castle Rock screenshots showing them.

ps.: Castle Rock, Seebergbahn and Hedborough are to my best knowledge 2011. I missed "3" after RailWorks in my post above, may have caused confusion. Their basic quality could suggest earlier, though.

Here is a couple more removed Steam DLC I found while looking around a bit. I found an 8F pack from RailSimulator.com, 2 Jubilee Class DLCs where one was made by RailSimulator.com and released in 2010 and another made by Dovetail Games which seems to have come from the Settle to Carlisle route and was sold separately but does not have a confirmed release date that I can find. I found a King Class by RailSimulator.Com released in 2011. I found an EMD SD60M released by Dovetail Games and also added the Virgin Trains First Generation Pack by Dovetail Games. I also added the Class 117 and its 2 marketplace liveries that were removed. For routes I added the Granfield Branch and Hatchet Hill Quarry. Last time I checked, you can somehow purchase Hatchet Hill Quarry through some sort of Steam bug but it isn't meant to be there so I still consider it "removed" and added it to the list.

The SD60M might be the TS 2016 reward which should be bundled with Sherman Hill by now. It has 2 scenarios for SH and used extensively in the workshop.

If you collect those, then it's getting deep, such as the Class 801 :)

Ultimately it could be worth combining my spreadsheet with those of others (someone shared a website recently) and create the ultimate table, with a "still available" column or somesuch.

Because of this I may add a special "Still Available" section to DLC that it applies to on the list, may help for collectors.

Hatchet Hill is hidden, but not removed. So it's not really removed - you can purchase it from the web browser.

Phorum Peninsula was a charity DLC - and got removed probably due to community assets licensing conflicts. (Some got removed from London Transport later)

Castlerock, Seebergbahn and Hedborough were core RailWorks routes. Their depot is now named RailWorks LegacyRoutesFictional (https://steamdb.info/depot/208305/) and RailWorks LegacyScenariosFictional (https://steamdb.info/depot/208315/)

So these plus Cajon Pass, Newcastle - York, Oxford - Paddington and Bath - Templecombe (all from RailSimulator) are the very first seven routes of RailWorks. I think Ruhr-Sieg was next.

Alright, I have just added the new "Still Available" section on the list for the DLC that applies. However a problem I see with this is that it is quite vague, because I put the North Wales Coastal Extension DLC as Still Available even though the Extension DLC itself isn't available for purchase but you would still technically be able to use it because it's essentially now just a part of the North Wales Coast Line Route currently available for purchase. I'm not exactly sure but I also put down the Railworks 2 GP9Pack as still available as I think the GP9s from that were just put into the currently available GP9 Loco Pack. Same applies for the Dovetail Games Jubilee as that seems to be the same Jubilee loco from the Settle to Carlisle route. However I still don't really know what to do because you may be getting the same route for the North Wales Coastal Extension, but technically not the same scenarios since they use different stock livery wise.

8F is bundled with Netherfield Nottingham. HST Buffers with WCML North. Don't think the GW green/grey HST ever was removed?

Regarding your dilemma, let me play an analyst here :)
What is the purpose of a thread like this?
    a) To list stuff to be fixed, reproduced
    b) To supplement retired ones to the list of all content available
    c) Other :)
If the intention is B, then I could argue to collect everything and use SteamDB or any other link format.
From the perspective of region locked content earlier, specifics may not even be clear cut.

We could even go further and include 3rd parties, such as with a few examples:
    * Class 66, EWS, DTG v1 - Shipped with Settle-Carlisle
    * Class 66, EWS, DTG v2 - Steam DLC for ?
    * Class 66, EWS, AP v1 - AP DLC
    * Class 66, Freightliner, DTG v1 - Unavailable
    * Class 66, Freightliner, DTG v2 - Steam DLC for Edinburgh-Glasgow
Bit of a long list, but you get the point. I use similar formatting with my screenshots. For the purposes of a proper database, this is a three level hierarchy (at least). My favorite annoyance is the Class 33 where there are two BR Blue versions, the /0 and /1. Subclasses can get annoying. (That gets truly, truly horrific when you start considering SD40, SD40-2, SD45, SD40-3, SD40T-2 or SD40-2T and why, SD40E, SD40-3R which is an SD45... ... ... ...)

I don't want to explode this thread, the point is to take it easy anyway and the entire idea is a long itch of mine.

Good points! My goal for this thread when making it was just to have a good place to discuss removed DLC, and have a helpful list for people curious or a collector who may be interested in the removed DLC on Steam because to me it's quite interesting seeing all the different removed content that I didn't even know existed.

SteamDB is an invaluable source and knows "everything".

For example I could find the exact date when the AdaptiveBloom was "broken".

It would probably be useful if you put where the delisted DLC that is still available can be found in the OP. For instance, where is Granfield still available?
Ruhr-Sieg was from Rail Simulator but got a large update early on in Railworks' life.
The order of the first routes was:
    1. Rail Simulator European release - Bath-Templecombe, Hagen-Siegen (Ruhr-Sieg), Oxford-Paddington, and Newcastle-York
    2. Rail Simulator US release - Cajon Pass
    3. Railworks - Castle Rock, Hedborough North, Seebergbahn

You mean Hatchet Hill? I found it just by googling: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/11113/

Granfield was not mentioned by me. But it's on UKTS in its original state, or in an upgraded version on the Workshop :)

Exactly, I wasn't talking to you there, hence why I put it above your quote.

    That was my angle, too.

I am considering to start a Google Sheet(s) that a select few could edit, or a similar something on Github, either way the point is it could be public but moderated, or it would get inevitably trolled.
It could be transformed into an actual database later, and used on a website.
But I suspect someone already has a version, which would be a better basis than mine, or a SteamDB extract. Such as, DTG themselves! :) After all they did have a shop. :D
I think it should include 3rd party payware as well, but it's hard to draw the line with Workshop, UKTS, RWA...

By the way, in my sheets I tried to research original release dates, Steam often lists newer ones. Plus, what you have also discovered, recently SteamDB added a 10 year limit, so it's a bit difficult to research old stuff.

nothing against it at all. Train sim has been out on steam for 10+ years with LOTS of content come and gone. I just see the thread getting flooded in a mass of screenshots that’s all like previous threads

Thanks for the suggestions! I've added a more in detail still available section to the post now of where you can find the removed DLC that are still available. The Granfield Branch Line comes bundled with an Amazon UK Game Code for the Class 111 listed as "Class 111 DMU Add-On [Online Game Code]". However if you buy the Class 111 from Steam you will not get the Granfield Branch Line. And as torfmeister mentioned, you can get it as its original state on UKTS however that website is shutting down soon. Or you can get the upgraded version listed as "Granfield Revisited" on the Steam Workshop.

But this is completely incorrect. You can't buy the Class 111 from Steam and if you buy it from Amazon you don't get Granfield.

    I'm very confused by this.
Here is the link to the Class 111 DMU on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/208366/Train_Simulator_Class_111_DMU_AddOn/
Many others who have bought the Class 111 DMU Code on Amazon UK from this link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Class-Add-Online-Game-Code/dp/B00U31241Y have stated they got the Class 02, 8F and Granfield Branch. This includes myself! A kind person bought me the code and I also got the 8F, Class 02 and Granfield downloaded with it. Here is the proof which I have unfortunately had to split into two screenshots because I don't know how to widen the tab to display the full thing.

No problem, but I do have some corrections to make:
This pack contains scenarios not included in the marketplace version.
The Settle Carlisle Specials add-on only has Green Arrow. The original V2 pack also had a BR black version which is included in the O4 DLC. Neither DLC has the scenarios included in the original add-on.
The LT Heritage Collection version of Phorum Peninsula is a very different route to the original, not to mention all the stock and scenarios that the original came with.

Thanks for the corrections. I've kept the V2 and Saddle tank pack as still Available but added some more information that like you said, the scenarios are not available that were included in the original pack and I have removed Phorum Peninsula from Still Available.

This is going to turn into a very good thread showing the history of the sim and what we had as content years ago to now. Should build up a nice little digital encyclopaedia of train sim history and how far it has come.

Been searching around a bit more today. Here is some more stuff I have found and added to the list. I will add info beside it if there is anything interesting about it.

    Locos
RailWorks Hall Steam Locomotive Pack - Seems to be the same Hall Class used in the Falmouth Branch route. Falmouth Branch came out only 1 year after this was released.
Railways GXBerkshires DLC - Re-released as the NKP S-2 Class 'Berkshire' .
Railworks SPS Northerns DLC - Re-released as the SP&S E-1 Class 'Northern'.
Railworks ChallengerPack DLC - I cannot tell if this was re-released as the Union Pacific Challenger. I assume not at the moment because the preview image for this one has the Challenger without any smoke deflectors which I don't see in the preview images for the Union Pacific Challenger currently on Steam. However I do not own the DLC so I cannot confirm it.
Railworks V2Pack DLC - This loco seems to have 2 liveries, a green and a black one. The green one was put into the Settle Carlisle Specials DLC and the black one was put into the Robinson Class O4 DLC.
Railworks: Saddle Tank Pack DLC - Same saddle tank in the light blue livery featured in the 0-4-0 Saddletank Pack 2 DLC. I am not sure if it also had the other liveries from the 0-4-0 Saddletank Pack 1 DLC.
Railworks A1 Tornado Pack DLC - Re-released on the steam store as the LNER/BR Class A1 'Tornado'. They look identical.
Railworks Class 390 Pack DLC - Re-released on the steam store as the Class 390 EMU.
    Railworks Class 20 Pack DLC
Railworks GX Daylights DLC - Re-released as the Southern Pacific GS-4.
Railworks Class 380 Pack DLC - Bundled with the Glasgow Airport Rail Link route and it looks identical to the Class 380 currently on the steam store.
    Railworks Class 45 Pack DLC
Railworks NS HighNose Pack DLC - Bundled with the Ohio Steel 2 route and possibly re-released as the Norfolk Southern SD40-2 High Nose DLC.
Railworks CN WideNose Pack DLC - I assume this was re-released as the CN SD40-2 Wide Nose DLC.
Railworks SF SD40 Pack DLC - A Santa Fe SD40.
Railworks Evening Star DLC - This DLC includes the last steam locomotive built by British Railways. British Railways Standard Class 9F '92220' 'Evening Star'

    Routes
Railworks TestTraK DLC - A very strange route for some reason bundled with some random routes. It's bundled with Pacific Surfliner LA - San Diego, East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough and the West Somerset Railway. Also comes in the West Somerset Railway + WSR Diesels Twin Pack and the ECML London - Peterborough + FCC Class 321 Twin Pack.
Railworks Project Platform - Here is an interesting one!! This route appears to be Phorum Peninsula, released on the 25th of March, 2010. Seems to be a special charity route as it says "In support of the Railway Children". I'll attach the preview image here. Also interestingly, seems to have a british tank engine that I haven't seen before on the preview image.

    Marketplace
Railworks GWRBset DLC - A Digital Traction GWR coach pack. There is a B Set coach pack on Digital Traction's website, but the one removed looks different to the currently available one.
Railworks 7FScenarioPack01 DLC - A scenario pack for the SDJR 7F.
Railworks B5ScenarioPack01 DLC - A scenario pack for the British Railways Stanier Class 5.
Railworks Mk2e Coaches DLC - A Digital Traction coach pack.
Railworks Mk1Coaches DLC - Another Digital Traction coach pack. This one is bundled with the Woodhead Route DLC and the BR Class 76 & 77 DLC. Also comes with the Robinson O4 + Woodhead Route bundle.
    Railworks TEA Wagons DLC
Railworks IHH Extra Content DLC - I have no idea what this one is. Would be great if anyone knows something about it.

It seems the IHH Extra Content DLC was given to a player when they bought an IHH product from Steam. It included a variety of rolling stock such as a few locos, coaches and freight wagons. I found this info on the Railworks Wiki, I'm not sure how accurate it is but it's the best I could find.

Iirc, the old Challenger was re-released by DTG, along with the old Big Boy (not to be confused with Smokebox's versions). As I do remember, there was a 2-8-0 bundled in with the Challenger at the time, but the current version doesn't have it anymore.

Could also add the old South Wales Coastal and extension since they were removed then replaced with an unbranded version.

Very interesting, thanks for letting me know.
Thanks, I have been looking around for the South Wales Coastal and Arriva related things so far.
Here is what I have found, not currently adding to the list as I want some more info on it first.

South Wales Coastal Assets Pack - This was the original South Wales Coastal route, Bristol - Cardiff. It says on SteamDB it's old name was "South Wales Coastal Route Add-On" and it has lowest price lists so I reckon it was the original Bristol - Cardiff version. It was released on the 7th of April, 2016.
South Wales Coastal: Bristol - Swansea - Definitely seems to the branded version of the current South Wales Coastal on the steam store. Was this route just an extension or an entirely new route? It was released 6 months after the Bristol - Cardiff version on the 17th of November, 2016.
Arriva Trains Wales DMU Pack Add-On - A Dovetail Games DMU pack featuring 2 Arriva branded trains. The Class 143 and Class 158. It was released on the same day as the Bristol - Cardiff route came out. On the 7th of April, 2016.
Arriva Trains Wales Class 150/2 DMU Add-On - An Armstrong Powerhouse steam release uploaded to the Steam store on the 10th of May 2018. As the name suggests, featured an Arriva branded Class 150/2.
South Wales Coastal Scenario Pack 01 - An Arriva branded scenario pack. I don't know if it was for Bristol - Cardiff or Bristol - Swansea. It was made by the developer Trains & Drivers. Released on the 6th of June, 2018.

Please let me know if there is any other removed DLC related to Arriva or South Wales Coastal. Thanks everyone. :)

IIRC way back in the Railworks era, there was an Amtrak P42DC by G-Trax, which is no longer available.

I dont remember if that model became the P42 Empire Builder Pack or not.

Thanks! After comparing a bit, I do think it may be the same model for the currently available P42DC with possible enhancements here and there.
