From TSW3 I usually enjoyed driving without the parts showing speed limits, but without removing the HUD together for some feedback on which button my mouse was about to press and sometimes distances etc.

Is there really no way to turn off the top left part of the TSW4 HUD without using F1 and disabling all HUD elements, as that is quite the dealbreaker for me to be honest.

in the settings you can turn the HUD back to normal and then use CRTL+(1-9) to toggle various HUD elements. kinda what I did with the Speedometer using CRTL+5, for example

Top left is always there unless you remove the whole 2D overlay using F1. Has always been this way.

You can't just remove that bit & it's a poor move from DTG.

I do wonder why you can't remove it or resite it. It isn't exactly subtle. I do prefer the TSC HUD arrangement to be honest.

Go to accessibility, hud, and change it to "OFF".

That removes the hud like the F1 setting BUT it leaves the tool tips for control settings etc on.

No, it was added as part of the update that came with the mini hud.

Indeed! Now I don't have to listen over the top of my laptop fan to hear when I get to "notch 4" or "Off and Release". It's great!
I would like to remove the current speed limit and current gradient from the minimal HUD though. Hopefully in the winter core update.

No options to remove those coming in the update i'm afraid, just options to toggle on the new bits that have been added.

Is there an option to remove just this objective marker:
    upload_2023-12-7_3-22-25.png
The distance is generally in the (minimal) hud, and this marker is quite often shown in front of the signals...
I do want to keep the marker where to stop though. (which is the same option)

There should be an option in settings.

In the HUD section, where you can decide whether the markers for speed limits etc appear.

Unfortunately, there is not an option for your case (unless you press F1, which will remove the HUD, but keep the blue conical stopping marker for where you need to stop.
