Line C3 is a Madrid Cercanías line that runs 106 km throughout the Community of Madrid and part of the province of Toledo (Spain) between the El Escorial and Aranjuez stations. As it passes, it runs through the municipalities of El Escorial, Collado Villalba, Galapagar, Torrelodones, Las Rozas, Madrid, Getafe, Pinto, Valdemoro, Ciempozuelos, Seseña and Aranjuez, stopping in all of them, except in the Toledo municipality of Seseña, whose halt stopped serving on April 11, 2007. From its inauguration until November 5, 2018, the entire Aranjuez-El Escorial section was called C-3, but as most of the trains finished their route from Aranjuez in Chamartín, in the last reorganization the line was unfolded in the C-3, which makes the Aranjuez-Chamartín route and on C-3a, which continues to El Escorial, some continuing even to Santa María de la Alameda. Between 2002 and 2012, the service provided by the Pinto-San Martín de la Vega branch was called C-3a, but the service was suspended due to low demand from travelers. The frequency of the trains varies depending on the day. From Monday to Friday the frequency is 10-20 minutes during rush hour (6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.; 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; 5:30 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.) and 30 minutes in the rest of the time sections (5:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.; 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; 15:30 to 5.30 pm; 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm). SCENARIOS : The scenarios available for this line would be the following: 1) drive this commuter service on line c3 from Aranjuez to chamartin and back 2) drive this commuter service on line c3a from Aranjuez to el escorial 3) a train in simple composition of line c3a arrives from aranjuez. Take this service from El Escorial to Avila and return to the Escorial where you will couple with another to go down coupled to Arajuez (the service back to Madrid would not take you, but a colleague would relieve you in the Escorial) 4) title of the scenario: going up to the mountains Conduct a service from end to end of the line (starting in Aranjuez and ending in Ávila But this is not all, apart from this, for freight train lovers we also have scenarios: 1) drive this cargo service from Seville. relieve your partner in aranjuez and get on this train to avila where you will uncouple the wagons and leave the machine isolated for new service 2) you are the driver of this isolated locomotive service from Avila to Aranjuez, where he will dock with the freight cars and relieve the partner who will continue to Seville here you have some images of the trains that circulate on the routes This trains are : Renfe 465 civia EMU ( passenger services) Renfe 253 ( freight services ) Stations of the route El escorial Aranjuez Atocha (I also want to mention that commuter services on line c4 could be included, since from Chamartín to villaverde alto, lines c3, c3a and c4 share the same roads and same stations) And this is all , if you like this , please give me a like !
