    Hello everyone today I would like to propose to you the RER Line A Parisian of RATP Group company to Saint-Germain en Laye to Marne la Vallée Chessy Parc Disneyland with the rolling stocks MS61 and MI84.

    RER Line A :

    Line A of the Ile-de-France RER, more often simply called RER A, is a line of the Ile-de-France regional express network which crosses the Paris conurbation from east to west, with several branches at end of a central section. It connects Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Cergy and Poissy to the west, to Boissy-Saint-Léger and Marne-la-Vallée to the east, passing through the heart of Paris. 109 kilometers long and operated mainly by the RATP, the branches of Cergy and Poissy however come under the SNCF to the west of Nanterre-Préfecture. It is by far the busiest on the network with 309.36 million passengers, 1.4 million passengers per working day and regularly close to saturation, which also makes it, in terms of traffic, one of the busiest lines. densest in the world and the densest in Europe; it alone provides more than a quarter of the rail traffic in the Paris suburbs, and on certain days carries more people than all the TER networks excluding Transilien.
    Line A
    is a line operated by the SNCF, from Nanterre-Préfecture to Cergy-le-Haut and Poissy and by the RATP, from Saint-Germain-en-Laye to Boissy-Saint-Léger and Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy , which operates from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., every day of the year, using MI 2N and MI 09 type trains.
    The line was previously operated by MS61 material (Material Suburban 1961) from 1969 to 2016 and MI84 material (Interconnected Material 1984) from 1985 to 2017 before the latter was sent on the RER B.

    Rolling stocks :
    For this suggestion I suggest rolling stock MS61 and MI84.

    MS61:
    The MS 61 (
    initials of Suburban Material of 1961) is a piece of equipment ordered by the RATP in 1963, with the aim of serving a new regional transport line crossing the capital from east to west which will become line A of the RER in 1977. An MS 61 unit is made up of three cars, two motor cars flanking a trailer. The power cars, which have a driver's cab and each carry a pantograph, are numbered M.15xxx (xxx being a three-digit number specific to each car). The trailer is numbered AB.18xxx. An element therefore has the composition M.15xxx - AB.18yyy - M.15zzz , the digits xxx, yyy and zzz having no relationship between them. The element is 73.22 meters long. The MS 61 can travel coupled up to three elements or nine cars. This is the most common composition on the RER A for these machines. Coupling is done using a Scharfenberg-type hitch.
    The MS 61 is a 1,500 VDC single-current device intended to serve the RER A.
    RER A had 101 MS61 trains renovated.

    Mi84:
    The Z 8400 (better known as MI 84 (Interconnected equipment 1984))
    are the first interconnection trains of the RATP and SNCF networks in Île-de-France. The MI 84s, designed in the 1980s for RER line A, were followed by a derivative version designed to meet the needs of RER line A, before being partly assigned to RER B.

    All elements can be coupled into multiple units. A renovated train has a capacity of 850 passengers per element, i.e. 1,700 passengers per train of two elements then forming 8 cars.

    The MI 84
    train is an evolution of the MI 79B type developed for the RATP to operate line A of the RER, in addition to the MS 61 trains already in service. Line A had 73 mi84 trainsets. These machines made up of 4 bodies (2 motor cars flanking 2 trailers) have two AM 62 BU type pantographs which are positioned on the trailers thus forming two independent half-trains.

    Signaling and safety elements:

    The RER A has SNCF type signaling even in the RATP zone. The rolling stock has the VACMA, the bi-coup (which engages as soon as all the doors are closed after the closing command from the driver such as the tgv), the KCVB (Continuous speed control) as a security system. by beacons on the ground on the tracks, the SACEM (driving assistance system, operation and maintenance). The driving, operation and maintenance assistance system (SACEM) is an in-cab signaling device fitted to RER line A trains; it mainly operates on the central section of the line, between Nanterre-Préfecture station and Val de Fontenay station. The SACEM comprises a number of information transmitters in the form of tuned loops placed under the tracks, one for each elementary division or canton. A receiver, placed in the cabin, interprets and sends the information back to the console. The interface presented to the mechanic includes a device displaying a speed setpoint (or an indication called orange pad for on-sight (30 km/h), red pad for absolute stopping), as well as an audible warning (vigilance) when this set point is lowered. Failure by the driver to comply with the automatic instruction within a short time (a few seconds) leads to emergency braking and the stopping of the train (crash).

    Finally, the activation of SACEM leads to the automatic cancellation of the classic light signaling system, the indications of which are replaced by a simple cross of Saint Andrew (X). Almost all the indications presented by the side signals are then cancelled, with the exception of the square, the eyepiece, and the direction indicators. Indeed, this system is based on the division of the cantons, or sub-cantonment, allowing to pass from 105 to 90 seconds between each train in the station, equivalent to the passage of 2 minutes 30 to 2 minutes in tunnel. Thanks to a finer cantonment, it allows line A to have a metro-type train frequency.

    In the event that the signaling in the cabin and the side signaling conflict, the driver must apply the most restrictive signal.

    In the event of traffic disruption, if a train remains stopped for more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds in a section covered by SACEM, it will be automatically deactivated after this period has expired. The canceled signals come back on and must be respected but the display remains present on the console. The system will be reactivated automatically when crossing the next track circuit, re-cancelling the following signals.

    Excellent idea for downloadable content train get the replacement EMU for MI 84.

    Thank you, I think these 2 rolling stock are
    more interesting to drive than current rolling stock. In addition they can have the SACEM system in the central section.
