Quite an old and interesting line, with two branches and two operators: SNCF for the northern (Gare du Nord - Aéroport de Roissy-Charles de Gaulle / Mitry-Claye) part and RATP for the southern (Gare du Nord - Robinson / Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse) part. My proposal is to add the RATP (southern) part of the RER B (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RER_B), the former Sceaux Line (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligne_de_Sceaux) - initially running from Denfert-Rochereau station in Paris to Sceaux, and later extended from Luxembourg station in Paris to Limours (the Sceaux branch extended to Robinson station). The section from St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse to Limours has closed in 1939 because of a minimal traffic. So it would be a ~40 km lenght route from Gare du Nord station (northern end) to Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse (southern end) with the Robinson branch, running through Paris suburbs, quite a pretty environement. The line is equipped with modernized MI 79 and still not renovated MI 84 units (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z_8100 - article in french, did not found any in english). There are omnibus services on the line (they stop at all stations) and express services (some stations are skipped). Line scheme Renovated MI79 MI84 in original livery In my opinion, it would be very nice to see this line in TSW, ad I hope that you, dear developers will pay attention to my proposal. Some cabride on RER B: P.S: if it is possible to make the whole RER B line (~80 km lenght), it would be awesome! P.P.S: If interested, please, have a look to "Paris Metro" suggestion: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/paris-metro-lines.13658/
I have already done a bit of this line on TS and seen the possible returns that there was strongly advise DTG to do so.
I've just watched a cab ride of this route: This is a fantastic route for TS. Self-contained too so you'd get away with just the stock for this line. Some wonderful views along with way, varied townscapes and an underground section dripping in history. Perfect.
They said once they introduce a new country they aim at getting at least 3 DLCs done, and if we get 3 different LGVs I'll be mad, this looks awesome. Also I remember taking one of the RER trains when I went to the Paris Air Show last summer and it was the most crowded train I've ever took so hopefully we'll get more than 4 people per platform
