The RER D line of Ile-de-France, more often simply called RER D, is a line of the Ile-de-France regional express network (Réseau Express Regional), that serves a large part of the Île-de-France region along a north-south axis. It connects « Orry-la-Ville » and « Creil » to the north to « Melun, Corbeil-Essonnes » and « Malesherbes » to the south, passing through the heart of Paris. Opened in stages from 1987 to 1996, it is both the first line of RER by its length with 197,73 km and the busiest SNCF line in France with 615,000 passengers and 466 trains per working day in 2016. (https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligne_D_du_RER_d'Île-de-France) Here's the map of the line Today, this line mainly uses ‘Z 20500’ (Z 2N) trains by Bombardier and Alstom. Very powerful trains up to 140 km/h, allowing many passengers to be accommodated. (https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z_20500) Île-de-France Mobilités at left and Transilien at right I think this line is quite long and that to start "Paris Gare de Lyon - Corbeil-Essonne" would be a very good route of about 50 minutes. I hope you will look at French lines like the one that is very good and fast ! misterATOMIC
Okay so this line and train are very awesome. Please make sure to make us new French lines and mainly RER it would be cool there is the A the B the C the D and also the E
Yeah interesting but it won’t be reproduced as the ligne is huge nearly 200km and DTG is not interested in French line. They did the LGV Med because it was already made in TS
VACMA AND KVB yes as they’re mandatory but SACEM is only used on the RER A ( with the addition of GOA2 ). I can add that in the RER D because it runs on the RATP section in Paris ( between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon ) it also uses KVBP which is kinda similar to the LZB you can add more trains and is a bit less restrictive. KVBP is used as I said on this section only of the RER D and the Parisian section of the RER C and the line J ( PSL to Mantes via Poissy )
The Z57000 runs only on the south branches of the D between Juvisy and Malesherbes/Melun not the full line otherwise it’s equipped with Z20500 being replaced soon by the Z58500
Do you mean this train? For journey Mode, I can see this being done Chapter 1 Old School Z20500 Chapter 2 Change of Pace Z57000 DLC Chapter 3 Next Generation Commuter Z58500.
It is modern and fits 2021-2022 timetable on the route. If Z58500 gets made into the game then this will set off 2021-2022 design MUS like the Z31500 AI on this route. RRO HRR DCZ DB BR1440. Play with the destination sign it will have RB33 Aachen S8 Hagen Monchengladbach RE3 Hof. Play Z58500 Destination Panel it will have all French cities in TSW 2
Yes I mean this train and because of the COVID it will start its revenue service in late 2022-early 2023. You’re very optimistic to have 3 different types of trains as DTG tend to do one per route and reuse trains if they were already made in another routes. The Z57000 only runs on the south part near Juvisy, Corbeil-Essones and Melun and the most fun part of this huge line is the central one in inner Paris then northbound in Seine Saint-Denis county as it’s more busy. But DTG tends to do shorter routes and I really don’t think they’ll do another French route
I based my thinking from Ruhr-Sieg Nord because it has 3 DLC Locomotives DB BR155 DB BR363 & DB BR232 that would make it possible.
If it’s as a DLC ok then but not all included. If that happens, it would make sense to give us straight the Z20500 and its hybrid variant as it’s associated with the line D and an iconic EMU on the francilien network
Good ideas, but the best it's Z20500 for the sounds and the route, Creil - Corbeil-Essonnes can be the best route for this part of our RER D Line
Totally agree with your suggestion. I proposed line B of the RER knowing that the B and the D are in connection with Châtelet les Halles and Gare du Nord and share the same tunnel and the same tracks in this inter-station and follow each other towards Saint Denis. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tsw-2-suggestion-rer-line-b-paris-ratp-sncf.54050/
