Xbox Series X Rescue @ The Ranch

Has anyone else had trouble with the scenario on the San Bernardino route “Rescue at the Ranch”?
It’s at the very end of the scenario where there is a red light 1.4 miles from finishing, I waited for around 5 minutes and nothing happened then when I thought it may be a glitch and proceeded on, got the failed scenario pop up!

 

did you check to see if there were any switches you needed to manually set?

 

I didn’t even think of that ‍♂️
I thought as it was a scenario it would guide you if you needed to do something like that. looks like I’m gonna be spending another hour on that

 

Forgotten to check switches myself on this route a few times. It's easily done when you're used to it all being done automatically on other routes.

 

I don't have San Bernadino, so can't check for myself, but would the automatic switch-setter that was introduced in TSW4 work here?

 

DTG say the automatic switch option should work on SBD.

 

Thanks for help guys, no switching of tracks needed, just have to change cars and drive in the opposite direction
