Is there a way to get rid of these defective workshop scenarios. Under the workshop folder on my computer, I made sure to delete everything within the content subfolder. I also unsubscribed from the workshop scenarios that are on steam. Even though I did that, when I relaunch train simulator, I still see all the scenarios that I previously was subscribed to. Alot of the workshop scenarios have missing text or text in the wrong places. Below is an example of what occurs with Metro North 8871 scenario. I would like these corrupt scenarios fully removed from Train Simulator and would like to know how if there is another way?
I believe I found a work around for the corrupt workshop scenario issue. Whilst being unsubscribed from all the workshop scenarios, I noted which ones had weird text in the title or description. Once I found what needed to be removed, I backed out to the main menu -> Build -> locate the route -> locate the problem scenario, then hit delete.
Yes, you need to delete them. You don't have to Unsub. I don't know what happens if you delete so from Build, in any event, upon 2nd extract they are usually fine, since that's solo. I usually leave them be, as long as the game doesn't crash on load. Then whenever I intend to play a workshop scenario, I just verify it's healthy. I suspect you can manually extract them, too, Spikee gave this explanation a few times, all of them are in the library you use: c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\24010
