Steam [resolved] Free Roam In Timetable Is Completely Broke After Suspension Update

I have installed the suspension update for today.... And a new story begins....! Free roam is broke complete. Nothing works if you select a path you did not get anything.... When i place a train to test the suspension i found it doesn't give a path or anything no message or what so ever!

 

I have yet again set my game to READ ONLY, it will put the game into OFF line mode, but better than having it Broken more and again. Steam DB -->> 2362300

 

I can absolutely confirm that it is in fact broken.

Can you guys MAKE ONE MAJOR UPDATE that DOESN'T BREAK A VITAL PART OF THE GAME?!?!?!

 

Nearly every major update broke some part of the game since TSW 4 was released.

Do you guys at DTG even test what you ship?!

Once, ok mistakes do happen, twice I will still give it the benefit of the doubt. But yet again?

Free Roam quite simply doesn't work. Set Path doesn't do anything at all. Nothing. No matter which route.

 

Unfortunately the OP is right, its not possible to set paths on any of the routes

 

The possibility to choose a path does not work. You can spawn a loco but if you click on the map for a path from a to b it will not create a free path it results in nothing.

 

I havent update yet.
Do ALL locos cant pin location in free roam?

 

What i have test so far is it a core issue not a loco issue

I can confirm. Free roam paths are non-functional for me as well.

 

The only thing that still works is using GodMode's "RouteMeTo" pathing. (Needs getting up and taking the seat again for the HUD to update after setting a destination)

 

Confirmed (Steam) I was having a lovely time spawning in 101s on SKA. The update killed that idea!

 

I think it's incredible how dtg doesn't test what they send us beforehand, they aren't able to implement something without rendering some other relevant part of the game literally USELESS
And who knows when an update will come out to fix this...

 

I'm new to this. But I'm on PS5 and I chose the Nahverkehr Dresden route and the BR 143. I spawned at Dresden, but when I tried to choose the path, the option was there but I couldn't move up to highlight it. Then I realized my train wasn't ready (The brake key wasn't on) and when I did that, it let me choose a path, and I ran the route. Are you guys even getting option box to choose the path?

 

It's a relief to find that there is a bug. I thought the game just thought I was being daft for trying to take an 8F Steam loco with wagons around from Aschaffenburg to the Port.

 

Yeah, it's working on PS5.

 

Pathfinding for timetables in the editor also doesn't work anymore...
(For the free roam part: Atleast DTG hasn't the excuse anymore when it comes to "There's no layer for that train, but you can spawn it in free roam")
