Xbox Series X [resolved] Game Pass Standard Missing Content

Trying to get TSW 5 core routes to work with Game pass standard (as advertised in an article today)

When going to select what content to install from game pass, only Frankfurt Fulda shows up. The other two core routes are missing.

I've sent a ticket not long ago. Reached out to Microsoft just incase they can do anything to help. Unfortunately, they can't.

 

I remember having the same issue when I had gamepass and gave it a try. Load the game to the main menu, shut it down and then do the following:

(1) Highlight TSW in 'my games and apps'.
(2) Select 'manage games and addons'
(3) Click the section containing the TSW image + version number etc etc.
(4) Select 'manage installation on internal storage'.

You'll then be presented with a full list of installed + available to install addons. Tick the missing ones and 'save changes'

Thank you, gave this a go, WCMLS is still missing from the list. Frankfurt Fulda and San Bernardo are both there.

 

Ah right, I guess I got lucky then. You could try installing the two available routes and repeating the process to see if the game recognises something is still missing or maybe visit the store to see if the addon has an install option alongside the 'buy now' ....but aside from those I'm all out of ideas. Sorry.

[edit] I've just checked the store page for WCMLS and it does say "included with gamepass" alongside the £29.99 purchase option

So, this morning, still unable to download WCMLS on Gamepass. As can be seen from the pictures, Frankfurt and San Bernardo are able to be installed. For WCMLS, it's saying that I need to join Gamepass.

 

Just a quickie. I'm not saying anything will come of this but: Press 'Y' on your dashboard (to bring up the search tool), type "train sim world" and then select the version with the gamepass logo attached. Does it say "play"? If it does, scroll sideways and select "manage" to display items you can install.

Sometimes retail + gamepass versions of games have separate listings, meaning the store search (which only displays "suggested" items) may overlook the version you're looking for, with the dashboard search sometimes throwing up a different result. The only reason I know this is because I preordered Borderlands 3 and because a preorder becomes obsolete when day one arrives the "suggested items" store search no longer lists it......instead showing new versions with a 'buy now' against those items I already own. The dashboard search displays my purchase (in amongst the other versions) as "currently unavailable".

Oh I know! I've had a support ticket open for 3 days. So far, it may be because I had too many devices linked to my Microsoft account, for which I don't. I have one.

Let's see if we have more luck next week.
