Epic Games [resolved] Help Restoring Profile?

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Last night while playing the game my PC had a major crash. When I got it going again and loaded up the game my profile was missing, and every time I open the game I am confronted with the screen in the first attached screenshot. Clicking the existing profile it lists there does nothing. I have not yet tried creating a new profile.

All the save files, including my player profile, are still in their correct location in the My Games folder (see second screenshot). The last save time on the profile is 9:38pm and the crash happened at 9:43pm, so that file should be my old profile, not something resulting from the crash.

My confusion is: if the files are all still there where they should be, why can't the game see them? Is there a way to import a profile?

 

You could try BAK_Archer.sav and renaming it to PP_Archer.sav, if that doesn't work then not sure. TSW3 profiles can be imported to TSW4, but I don't know if TSW profiles can be imported or not

 

Have you tried a re-install?

 

Just backup PP_Archer.sav, rename BAK_Archer.sav to PP_Archer.sav and start TSW.
You may lose a little progress, but that's better than losing everything.

 

Renaming BAK_Archer.sav as PP_Archer.sav worked, everything restored. Thank you very much.
